Le Mas Réséda

Fabulous. Calming location but close to all of the hill towns

Le Mas Réséda is a charming old Provençal farmhouse that has been beautifully transformed into a very comfortable place to stay in the heart of the Luberon. Our apartment was spacious, beautiful and full of character, with a lovely private terrace. Although there ware two more apartments you have privacy and hardly meet each other. The highlight for us was definitely the heated pool, with wonderful views over the lavender fields and the Luberon landscape. Sitting by the pool with a glass of local wine, watching the sunset and later the star-filled sky, was simply magical. The location is excellent—only a few kilometres from beautiful villages such as Goult, Roussillon and Gordes. Yet we enjoyed the property so much that on several evenings we preferred to stay in and have dinner on our terrace. Isabelle and Pascal gave us wonderful recommendations for local wine, vegetables, fromageries and boulangeries. And the local tomatoes were incredible—we had never seen so many different varieties! Most of all, Isabelle and Pascal are truly lovely people. Their warmth and hospitality made our stay very special. We felt more as though we were visiting friends than staying with hosts.

Zeer aangename gastvrouw en gastheer, uitstekende locatie midden in de natuur. Rustig, een ruime schone appartement. Alle faciliteiten aanwezig inclusief bestek en borden. Verblijf was echt top, boven mijn verwachting.
