Villa Fortis B&B

This is quite simply the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Izabela and Silvio are amazing hosts, very friendly and helpful. We had room 5 which is on the top floor (no lifts) and it has a massive terrace overlooking the pool (2 sunbeds as well as seating and a little table). The room was beautiful and so was the bathroom. The decor in the whole house is stylish and modern and everything is spotless. The coffee machine in the breakfast area is available all day and there were free drinks in our mini bar. The pool area is fabulous and there are plastic glasses available to enjoy drinks outside. The breakfast is also extremely good and plentiful (both hot and cold options). The beach is across the road and you can take the taxi boat to the centre of Trogir every hour on the hour. The last boat back is 11.30pm (€5 pp each way). The campsite along to the left also has a good restaurant (Rozac) where you eat in the shade overlooking the beach. If we find ourselves in Croatia again, we will definitely stay here. We simply can't say enough wonderful things about our three-night stay at Villa Fortis. From the moment we arrived, our hosts made it clear they were available for anything we might need. As it turned out, we needed absolutely nothing—they had thought of every detail, right down to providing a corkscrew in the breakfast area! One thing we especially appreciated was the privacy. While the hosts were always available if needed, they respected our space completely and did not enter our room during our stay. Housekeeping, fresh towels, and bed linens are provided every three days, which we found to be the perfect balance. The property is immaculate—without question one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, and we travel extensively. Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet offered a wonderful variety each morning, with different homemade specialties and delicious hot dishes prepared fresh each day. The sparkling pool looks brand new, even though the property has been open for several years. The beach is directly across the street, making it incredibly convenient for a relaxing day by the water. Getting to Old Town Trogir couldn't be easier. A water taxi leaves nearby every hour and, for just €5, takes you across the bay in just a few minutes. There's also an excellent waterfront restaurant just down the street, perfect for lunch or dinner. Villa Fortis exceeded every expectation. If you're looking for exceptional hospitality, spotless accommodations, a fantastic breakfast, and an ideal location, you simply can't go wrong staying here. We would happily return.

Perhaps available ice machine? and maybe a microwave in the breakfast area.
