We received a warm and friendly introduction to the house and area from our host who gave us some lovely homemade jam. The house was in a brilliant location and was spacious and comfortable. It should be noted that there are many stairs inside the house (its a quirky old house), which may be inconvenient or inappropriate for some guests.
I found the bed extremely uncomfortable as the mattress was very firm. This was exacerbated as I have a shoulder injury.
