Surf Villa Hiriketiya

Amazing location right across the beach. A newly built hotel still under construction ( third floor) but no construction was going on during our stay. And we were not disturbed. two young boys served as caretakers. They were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. there is no restuarant or chef available at the villa ,but the adjoining properties are two really good restuarants. properly is in the midst of the lively location in the hiriketiya. we could just walk to all the restuarants and clear point for partying as well.

Needs a bit of TLC. needs carpet as some of the floors are slippery , especially if you are walking straight in from the beach. need a shower outside. a bed tea service would be nice. but overall we were quite happy with our stay.

Amazing location and really kind staff

The only thing I can think of to add to the room is a luggage holder, so you dont have to keep your backpack on the floor.

We loved our stay here. The property is in such a good location, it is right on the beach. Our room was spacious and modern and had everything in it that we needed with an amazing view looking out to the beach and the sea. The hosts were always in contact with us as well asking if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend 😊

Amazing location, pretty clean at beginning.

It seemed like another place trying to take advantage of tourism as much as possible with lower than expected value for money. Make sure to bring enough rupees to pay whole stay (does not mention this before booking and they do not accept card or USD). Started construction/hammering on ground floor at 9 am when all guests were still in room. Not sure why this couldn’t have waited til midday or afternoon if guests are checked in. Left feeling exhausted from both outside noise (loud music starting at 7 am from nearby cafes) and inside hammering. We had leaking water near our shower even before we took a shower. Continued to leak whole time, leaving pool of water in bathroom. They do not clean rooms during stay which can be rough when going to the beach daily. Did not provide water except at beginning of stay. Do not have 24/7 support but are nice about answering questions if they’re not otherwise busy.
