A comfortable sleep with hot water to shower.

Location

We were moved to 75 Eglinton Street. We were made aware that the upstairs shower was out of use and the downstairs toilet seat was broken. However, the downstairs smaller showerhead was also broken and the fridge wasn’t working. One of the single bed duvets smelt of body odour and there was very little heat in that bedroom. I know we booked very last minute but it was a disappointing experience and not the usual standard we receive from booking.com

Finishing presentation touches in bedroom (window) just made it look slightly unfinished/uncleaned. Great location if socialising - just very very close to station bar which is loud at the weekends.

Beds where comfortable , front door handle was broke , windows had hand prints all over them , my partner feel over a step that you could barely see on the landing and has badly hurt his foot , there was no sign that said to “mind the step” as it was covered with carpet .

Property is in the perfect location but not appropriate for and elderly person who struggles to walk as there are steep steps up to your room.

Disappointing and overpriced

The location

The apartment shows a lot of signs of disrepair, and the beds are old and smelled fusty. Also, no duvet cover on the duvet for the 5th person who was supposed to sleep on a broken sofa bed. (The pull out part was not attached and just wheeled across the floor) overall disappointing, but the location was fab.

Location is good

Location is good but it doesn’t cover all. Night time very noisy outside. Apartment is not clean enough. Used towels were still hang on toilet door. Bed cover looks not washed so we put away. Clean Towels and Bed sheets are smell bad. We don’t have own towels so After Shower we used that smelly towels and smell on body.

What a location & view from Windows.

Location was fab for us with 3 little kids. Was very tidy and clean. My 4 yr old daughter told me were I could sit and do my makeup she was impressed ☺️

Lots of stairs.. even inside the apartment, No microwave (would have help sort baby bottles) one wall we noticed the paper was comeing away from the wall. (Right beside sofa only reason was noticed) one window didn't have a windowcil and rest did in living area perfect otherwise. These are just little things as we were here. With 3 kids Under 4. If a travel cot could be provided for future would just make staying with little kids that little bit more relaxed.

Not what I'd expected but comfortable enough stay.

Communication with hosts was fantastic - Pearl responded to my message very promptly & clarified a situation for me. Also, information r.e. access / heating etc received on the morning of our arrival. Central location - view from living / kitchen area was beautiful & I enjoyed being able to still soak in some of the atmosphere even when the children were in bed! Apartment is located, within walking distance to all the main attractions! It is directly above a chip shop - highly recommended as we enjoyed a delicious dinner from there! During our visit, we enjoyed: Carrowmena Activity Centre for the 'Maize Maze', Downhill Beach, Currys amusements, Causeway Sea Tours, Maud's Ice Cream.

I was disappointed at the standard of cleanliness throughout the apartment however, the entrance as soon as you open the main door off the street was particularly bad. It appeared that skirting boards / window sills / windows in the apartment hadn't been cleaned in some time as there was an accumulation of dust / dirt. There was evidence of pieces of dirt all through the wooden floor in the living area. A brush & dust pan would have been really advantageous as the children had crumbs of their fish & chips on the floor which I had to scrape together with kitchen roll & attempt to lift. Overall, the apartment looked quite tired with ripped wallpaper & yellowing paint in places. There was actually chewing gum stuck to the ceiling around 1 of the windows in the living area. The central location of the apartment was also a bit of a disadvantage as Portrush is a busy wee town & it was very noisy, all night long! This is absolutely no fault of the hosts! Just something to bear in mind. Crockery was short in supply - we actually used paper plates which I'd packed for picnics while we were out & about. Sofa bed comes apart at the center so would not be possible for 2 to sleep on. Also, we were unable to locate any duvet cover for the duvet under the sofa bed.

Location was good

There were no blinds or curtains on some windows. There was no hot water at all. Heating didn't seem to work. Tv had no power cable so could not be used. Bed linen dated and old. Crockery and cutlery were in very short supply. Very very basic accommodation.

Really enjoyed our family trip, excellent location and would definitely stay again.

Very central excellent location. Also apartment very clean and tidy. Hosts were very good with communication, very helpful and when we asked for something we had it sorted within the hour. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Only thing I would say about this apartment would be that it would need some curtains. Even though the location is excellent it wouldn’t have easy access for everyone as to enter apartment you need to go up a flight of stairs but this is a minor complaint.

We had the best weekend staying here! Prime location central to everywhere. The hosts were lovely and so helpful just a text for phone call away! The apartment was super clean and had everything you needed.

Basic and expensive for what you get.

Some nice pubs and restaurants nearby, lovely part of the word, near to Causeway and Antrim coast.

Flat strange layout, very basic in comfort or facilities. Even when we got the heating on which then made everywhere too hot, there was no hot water. We've paid 1/2 the price for the same space in other towns with a lot more comfort.

loved that it was so central to everything, even though a lot of places were closed this time of year it was a great spot.

it was extremely noisy at night time with the station bar being open. loud people outside from about 9:30-3 in the morning. the back room was ok but sleeping in the front wasn’t great with the noise.
