Great location, I’m sure will be better when the maintainance issues are sorted

The location is superb, it’s across the street from the train station and a short walking distance to anywhere in the town. It has a lovely sea view from the upstairs windows/balcony. It has free WiFi. The owner gave us early access due to the cold weather 12:00 instead of 3pm

It has a few maintenance issues, though the owner did say her handyman& plumber had been snowed in and unable to get to the property to sort the problems. We were made aware of the plumbing issues in the upstairs bathroom but there are a few more dangerous issues that we should have been told about. The 3rd stair has collapsed so needed to be avoided plus a couple of the balcony hinges were loose or missing. The front downstairs bedroom was freezing even with the heating on, I think the radiator might need bled. The living room sofa would benefit from a few cushions, as it’s not the comfiest and the pillows could be upgraded. We were only there for one night and due to the location it was fine for what we needed but think it could benefit from a fresh coat of fresh paint and a few soft furnishings

Location, owners were approachable and pleasant- have tried to make property look well, and provide everything required to improve stay

Just my parties opinion, The smell of damp was overpowering throughout the property even with plug in air fresheners; If the stairs were not carpeted could potentially go through a few of the steps, we were mainly sleeping in apartment otherwise would be difficult to spend a longer period there,

Unclean but close to centre

The flat I close to the centre which wa great, but was so unclean and the smell was so over powering we’d to leave every window open on arrival until bedtime. Bottle caps and old pieces of food were laying around the side when we mentioned it we were met with ‘why are you looking around the sofa anyways’ ( we had small children and were concerned they’d put stuff in there mouth). There were bed clothes in the sofa bed that we thought about using when we were chilling for the evening, but were covered in hair and stains, we were met with ‘ why are you looking to use the bedding’ when we didn’t book and extra person, Honestly couldn’t wait to leave this property! Best suited for stags or partying weekends.

Disappointing

The location was excellent- right across the road from the train station.

The accommodation looked and smelt like it was cleaned in a rush. There was a bad smell and mop streaks on the floors. Dirty cleaning clothes were left lying on the bathroom floor. The bedding smelt unpleasant. The apartment needs to be painted. We weren't able to use the balcony because it was broken. We only discovered this when we arrived. This was very disappointing as this was the reason we picked this accommodation.

Never Again, Huge Disappointment!

Location

This apartment was found very dirty after it was meant to have been cleaned! There was old toast, boxes, a baby bottle, rubbish and crumbs lying around aswell as stains on bed sheets and the kitchen floor was rotten sticky to walk on and a sign about bedsheets stuck to the wall in the living area from the cleaner I assume..! In one of the bedrooms the warerobe drawer had also fell off and was just sitting on for the look of it. So dangerous for a childs toes. Very Poor Setup! I was extremely disappointed to find that we had also no access to the balcony (the only reason why we booked this accommodation known that my dad could sit out and relax while we were out and about. I feel we should have been told this before our arrival or offered a reduced rate.! I had to also contact the owner on the 2nd day as we had been locked out of the accommodation, the response was that the code was only set for 1 night even though 2 nights had been booked. Just completely disgusted....

Place was nice but could have been better, my husband works In construction and was disappointed

Good location clean place good space decent rooms close to all attractions and restaurants

Couldn’t access the balcony as it looked dangerous with broken glass fittings and was locked , so could have been a problem if a fire happened, shower upstairs leaking through the light fitting in downstairs bedroom, struggled to get the windows open for airflow in. Was pleasant for a few nights only, hosts were nice with early check in, but could be doing some improvements

The beds were comfy and clean. There was a fantastic view and was a short walk from the town centre

When we first walked in and woke up the next day we noticed a bad smell of sewers from the downstairs bathroom. The property also has changed since the photos were taken so it’s not a true reflection. The quality of the property is not to the highest standard as there is wallpaper falling down, smear marks on the kitchen sink and some mirrors. Some areas could do with a paint for a complete finish

Not a bad stay however felt the property could have been cleaner and apartment generally feels outdated and overpriced.

Good central location close to the town centre.

Lights down stairs not working and bulbs were missing. Skirting boards were loose and hanging off, this could be dangerous should young children be in the apartment. Felt starting it sleeps six would be an exaggeration , sofa bed would struggle to hit two adults and the double bed downstairs was quite small. Felt the apartment could have been cleaner , lots of flies in the apartment , dust and dirt of surfaces. Felt the apartment was generally outdated and not overall value for money.

Would happily use again

Location was right by the train station which made it easy to quickly leave off of our bags and start enjoying the day right away once we arrived, Was a slight issue with the electric but the host was really helpful and had this issue sorted as soon as possible. Had everything that we needed to make the stay pleasant and comfortable

TV could possibly be updated, probably wouldn't have cared as much but had to retreat back to the apartment a few times due to poor weather and would have been nice to have a tv with more up-to-date features.

Location was excellent

All internal doors squeaked loudly. Drinking glasses had to be washed before we could use them. Host was not accommodating when asked to post back a pair of boots left behind. Bedroom furniture was extremely poor quality and shabby.
