The breakfast was wonderful. My husband was late getting down to breakfast, but the "hostess" made sure there was food and even offered to heat it up for him! The updates that have been done are a good start for a place that has been around for so many years!
The toilet was very low. Towels are getting a little threadbare, and the cabinet in the room has definitely seen better days!

We actually stayed at this hotel for the pool and hot tub area. I would read it an eight out of 10. The hot tub was phenomenal 10 out of 10 the pool was nice and warm, but there were so many people staying at the hotel that it was very crowded.
The room I stayed in did not have working heat or thermostat but when I called the front desk, they did bring extra blankets and a space heater to keep the room warm. They did also offer to move me to a different room, but I did not accept this offer because the space heater in the warm blankets were plenty enough for me. Another guest me I’ve taken the offer, but my daughter and I didn’t need to switch rooms. I will say the restaurant food was not good. We waited an hour for meatballs because they ran out and then when they were cooked and we got our food, the meatballs were tiny and burned. I spent $48 on cheese, curds and spaghetti and meatballs and my child and I couldn’t eat the food. Cheese curds were OK but very very greasy.

Staff was very nice, they allowed us to check in early so we could get to christmas eve church. Due to the holiday we were not at the hotel very much.
We got into our room and it was freezing, the heat was turned off. The jacuzzi tub in our room was nice but the jets didnt turn on. Looks like they have been trying to do some updates. There was painters tape around the 3rd floor elevator doors.
