Cleanliness of appliances, taoster had crumbs, base of jug sticky, did not use oven, needs cleaning, shower recess needs a good clean to remove soap scum and mold. Cook top looked a lot cleaner when we left. Twoo saucepans 1 lid. Very small frypan which has seen batter days.tongs would have been helpful. No soap in shower dispenser.

Brilliant stay which will be long-remembered!

- Location is superb for the nearby beaches (Sanna is spectacular), lighthouse, etc. Kilchoan with a coffee shop, grocery shop, ferry port and pub is also not far (10 mins in car). - The aspect of being inside an extinct volcano was fascinating for our little one. - Deer grazing outside the door. - Quality cabins, good compact, fully equipped kitchen. - Ardnamurchan peninsula is great in general if you like to get away from the crowds 😁

Meditation am Rande des Vulkans

Uns hat einfach alles sehr, sehr gut gefallen! Die Ruhe, die Natur, die Landschaft, die Einsamkeit, das Gefühl fast auf dem Mond zu sein, der nahegelegene Superstrand Sanna Beach, der Leuchtturm von Ardnamuchan. Die Ausstattung der Volcano Cabins war sehr gut und klug durchdacht. Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Wir möchten unbedingt noch einmal hin, und dann gerne für eine ganze Woche. Wir empfehlen ein Fernglas mitzunehmen, um die Vögel und Hirsche beobachten zu können! Außerdem sollte man vorher gut mit Lebensmitteln versorgen. Der nächste Laden ist weit...

Die Fahrt nach Kilchoan und weiter nach Acharacle war abenteuerlich, da die Straße sehr schmal und kurvig ist und man sich erst einmal an die Fahr- und Ausweichregelung gewöhnen muss. Schwierig, wenn man schnell autokrank wird. Ist man erstmal am erlöschenden Vulkan und den Cabins angekommen, wird man sofort für die Anstrengung belohnt.
