Patio del Lino

This apartment sits within a renovated complex of about 5 apartments and the front door is on the ground floor onto a courtyard. A small table and couple of chairs are in the courtyard close and almost opposite the pool which is little more than a plunge pool. It means you are a little on display if other visitors are also sitting outside or using the pool. There is no other private area but to be fair the courtyard was rarely occupied by others. What I liked in particular about this arrangement was you felt safer than if your front door was onto the street. It was also more private and quieter. The view from the roof terrace was great and you look down into one of the gardens of the paid for attraction (Palacio De Viana) The Hosts were very helpful and even helped arrange a taxi for us when we left as I couldn't communicate with the taxi operator when I rang them. I also like the fact you didnt have to worry about loosing any keys as the entrance to the courtyard from the street and the apartment itself relied on an 8 digit code.

The apartment appeared fairly recently renovated and the floors did not have any coverings on them like tiles, they were polished concrete which I dont mind the look of but it meant the property, on entering particularly, had a strong dusty, concrete smell to it which is a little bit like damp even though Im sure there wasn't any damp. We also thought the apartment wasnt that well equipped in the kitchen, a point I did raise with the host. EG No dish cloths or tea towels or decent size mugs for cups of tea just two small cups. In terms of location, Cordoba Historic area is relatively small and the walk to and from it, was doable but it felt a little on the edge of things. It was fine for us as we dont mind a walk and it also felt as if you were in a more 'local' area than tourist one which is fine in itself but does mean the local supermarkets cater accordingly. It meant we could not buy fresh milk anywhere until we stumbled across a bigger supermarket about a mile away a couple of days later.

Very clean, freshly refurbished, nice colourful and green patio very well maintained. The sheets and towels smelled really good fresh and clean !! Location is fab with my gran she didn’t need to walk more than 10mn to visit stuffs

We had a wonderful stay at Patio del Lino. The apartment is incredibly spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the mix of modern design and antique furniture, which makes the apartment feel warm and cosy. The small pool is a great bonus, especially on hot days in Córdoba! There were plenty of towels, including pool towels, and having our own washing machine and a small kitchen was very convenient. Communication with the accommodation was easy and friendly, and the location is great for exploring Córdoba.

The only small point for improvement is that the beds are a little creaky. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend Patio del Lino!

Clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. The parking was handy, and the pool small but ideal for kids, if you are travelling with one.

Few things, our room was missing toilet paper, we only had enough coffee for one day while we booked 2, the second apartment did not have coffee nor tea, and we looked everywhere. When you pay what they ask for you expect better attention to details. One more thing Friday night was very loud, a concert venue next to the house, not sure if that happens often or just our luck.
