Find yourself perched mere minutes from wide beaches, warm sand, and sweet sunshine here at Sunny Daze SO08. The heart of Salvo is nearby, so be sure to take advantage of the day-use area to run around on the sand, watch the sunset on the sound, launch kayaks or paddleboards, or wind/kiteboard during your stay. If you arrive on the island early, you'll have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility, including a pool, playground, and grill area.
The shared pool is located 15 miles south on NC 12 at the Hatteras Realty office in Avon.
Long-term rates are available by contacting us directly for stays spanning several weeks or more.
No smoking in the house.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. We had a wonderful time and the lay out of the house was great. We loved the location bc of all the beaches we could access on both the sound and ocean side. Although we had a great time, the hard/old beds and ants were a challenge.

We enjoyed our stay! However, we did notice that the whole house shook when someone was walking around. The bunk beds are fine for little people, but would not expect to put 4 big kids in there. We appreciated that there were basic items for our family use.

Overall, the house was fine for what we needed. It was a great location. The hot tub was our favorite part as the evenings were chillier. The bed we slept on (downstairs) was very uncomfortable, as were the pillows. The whole time we were there we kept saying "A little updating and paint would make this house so much better". Its a cool space - just outdated. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc. would be a nice addition to the rental.
