Waterfront home with deck, patio, grill, firepit, Ping-Pong, & WiFi

Quiet location but still minutes to town. Loved the fire pit down by the water.

Very spacious house with 3 bathrooms and a lot of beds. The location is at the center of the park, close to all the trails. After reading reviews I was worried there would be a lot of noise from the road, but it was nice and quiet. While in the house, our kids enjoyed the table tennis and the collection of puzzles and board games.

While the kitchen is well stocked, all the pans are old scratched Teflon. It would've been nice if there was at least one cast iron or stainless steel pan.

it was pretty roomy for a big group and had everything in the kitchen. backyard was really good and very close to Acadia national park

it didn’t have a dishwasher. and it was somewhat hidden so if you’re trying to find it in the evening or in the dark, it is hard to find

There was no breakfast: I don't understand that question. Aside from the traffic noise being so close to the roads, this cottage was a VERY tranquil and comfortable place to stay for our week. It was centrally located for access to all of our favorite spots at Acadia National Park, from walking mountain trails to simply gazing out to sea and across Sommes Sound. Good places to eat lobster (Abel's is very close by, as are Southwest Harbor and Southeast Harbor) allowed us to pretty much avoid the crowds in Bar Harbor, except for our two trips into Bar Harbor for specific venues. We had a great week.

There's nothing that can be done about the traffic noise, but at least the cottage is a well-built structure that mutes the noise when the windows are closed.
