Welcome to Island Whimsy!
Built in 2021, this breathtaking vacation rental home is ready to welcome guests! Located in the quaint cul-de-sac neighborhood of Couper Place, Island Whimsy is the perfect island escape for guests to enjoy time away from it all but minutes to the beaches, shopping, and restaurants on St. Simons Island. The outdoor space of Island Whimsy offers your own private resort setting, featuring a 14x24 pool with a spa that can be heated for an additional $45 per day, as well as in-water lounge chairs! The décor of the home is a comfortable island theme guests will be able to find multiple living spaces indoors and outdoors to enjoy. The open-concept living / kitchen / dining space offers a 60" HD Smart TV, perfect for guests to enjoy a family movie night or the game!
Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $40/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and even experiences with select vendors! – the choice is yours!
The spacious primary suite is located on the ground level with a King size bed and an en suite bathroom. Upstairs, guests will find three Guest Bedrooms. The first Guest Bedroom has a King size bed with access to the hall bathroom. The second Guest Bedroom has two twin size beds with access to the hall bathroom. The third Guest Bedroom is a bonus room with two full-size beds with trundle beds and a bathroom.
Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (10 persons). Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, receptions, etc. are not permitted.
Pets are NOT allowed
Linens (bath towels, beach towels & bed sheets) provided

We stayed here with three couples and two teenage boys. The home was PERFECT for our families. My elderly parents took the primary bedroom on the main floor, allowing them to avoid the stairs. The home is equipped with more pillow, blankets, towels, dishes, beach chairs, and bikes than I have ever encountered before. (We vacation a lot on the island.) The home is GORGEOUS as well… like something straight out of a magazine. Short bike ride to The Village and short car ride to any beach entrance. The ONLY thing I can complain about is the hot tub/spa. We paid the extra money to have it heated, and it was; however, the jets did not work properly. We called and they sent someone to look at it. The bubbles came on, but only once and continued not to work for the remainder of our stay. We plan to speak to Lilmar more about the situation.We still had the absolute BEST time and were so comfortable in this house. I would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone needing comfort, space, and luxury on St. Simons.

Really nice place, would stay again. Very conveniently located to lots of stuff. Would recommend confirming jets in hot tub work before paying the "heat" fee.

Our family stayed at Island Whimsy on a wedding trip in St Simons. What a beautiful home and property, I would highly recommend it.

We had a great stay! The house is even better than pictured. It was immaculate, well stocked with everything we needed, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The location is terrific, too. The management company is outstanding and communication was great. This house and management company are first class. We highly recommend this home and look forward to renting it again.
