Location of this hotel is perfect for a short stay in Chanaz. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel is right beside the jetty for river cruises and just a few minutes' walk from the town for restaurants and sightseeing. It's also right on the Via Rhôna cycle path, and the hotel has bicycles for rental if you didn't bring your own. Facilities are good. Rooms are air conditioned and bed was large and comfortable. There is a modestly-sized swimming pool, ideal for sunbathing and cooling down at the end of a hot day. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of charcuterie, cheeses, bread, muesli, yoghurt, fruit, etc. Decent coffee.

No real complaints. The only minor issue was that the breakfast buffet gets a little crowded at peak times (weekends after 9am). The single coffee machine was inadequate for the demand, needing to be refilled a couple of times, with people queueing for coffee. A second coffee machine would help spread the load. Or arrive earlier for breakfast.

Excellent accueil de tout le personnel, vraiment charmant, sympathique et serviable. Piscine petite mais appréciée au retour de balade (vu la canicule). Très bon petit déjeuner (produits frais et variés). Possibilité de manger (simple mais bon) au bar gourmand de l'hôtel (ce qui permet aussi d'éviter la foule de touristes à Chanaz en août !) Chanaz accessible à pied sans problème.
