Beautiful 2 bed/2 bath condo located in the Beach Wood complex on Amelia Island Plantation north of the main hotel. One of the best locations on the resort, with the Beach Wood complex pool access just steps outside the patio door and less than a 5 minute walk to beach access. (see pictures)
This condo has an inviting open floor plan with lots of natural light and beautiful furnishings. It's ideal for couples or families, with a king bed in the master, and 2 full size beds in the guest bedroom and a well stocked kitchen. Flat screen TVs are in the living room and both bedrooms. . A full size washer and dryer are in the laundry room. All linens and towels provided, and basic household supplies.
With this rental, guests enjoy the bike/walking trails on the resort, The Spa, shops, and a variety of restaurant options on Amelia Island Plantation. Bike and golf cart rentals, as well as Segway tours are available at Amelia's Wheels on the Plantation. The on Plantation, Amelia Island Nature Center offers a series of adventures, including kayak and paddleboarding tours on the marsh. Or, venture to nearby charming downtown Fernandina Beach and enjoy the eclectic dining and shopping options.

I always feel that renting from VRBO is super easy. This particular unit is desperately needing updating. Half of the electric outlets didn’t work. The lighting is poor and the shower room is kind of creepy it’s so dark. The tub is stained. The carpet is very dirty/stained appearing and needs to be removed and the condo tiled. Carpet at the beach is yucky. I felt like it was as clean as an old condo could be. Appreciated the washer and dryer.

Been to Amelia Island numerous times but this was our first stay on the south end. Condo is within the Omni resort complex which is beautiful. The area is very similar to Hilton Head Island. The Condo on the other hand is located in a nice complex but is totally outdated. Everything looks Original from the carpet to worthless shower heads that refuse to distribute decent water flow. The inside of coffee maker was full of scum and most likely bacteria ridden. The bedding was adequate but the pillows were very soft and comfortable. Bottom line would I return to this area of the island. Yes. But to this Condo unit a BIG NO!
