When we first got there, there was a musty smell but it quickly went away after turning the air on. Showers aren’t long. Hot water runs out quickly but gives just enough time. All the neighbors were great, my husband had no luck fishing, but he had fun trying. Close to everything, we love Skinny’s bar!

Somebody once lavished some attention on this property, but has let it slide a little. Some blinds are broken, solar lights are missing from the dock, bedroom door doesn’t fully close. Why oh why has the (advertised) dishwasher not been replaced or fixed, for a year or more looking at older reviews. Pans were greasy, cups coffee stained, and as for the plastic tumblers?? We are safe with glass honest! Didn’t know I was camping. Bug screens have been completely removed, which was fine at this time of year, but beware the buggy season. The area is a little bit trailer chic, but safe and some ok walking distance places nearby. There is an easy to miss step between the kitchen area and lounge, which caused many a stubbed toe and stumble, thought about adding bright tape to the edge as a reminder. On the plus, the outdoor is spectacular at sunset and great for birdwatching with an albeit plastic beer/wine…
