The Old Presbytery

Old Presbytery is a hidden gem in the heart of Dordogne countryside. It was a recommendation from a friend, and she was spot on! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease in this peaceful sanctuary. The hosts' hospitality is genuine — they welcomed us like old friends and prepared exceptional homemade dinners. The views from our room overlooked the beautiful pool and gardens, creating the perfect backdrop for a truly restorative stay. The location is ideal: we enjoyed the Saturday market in a nearby French village just minutes away, yet felt completely secluded and tranquil - that became the highlight of our days. The thoughtful design of the property and genuine care the hosts put into every detail made this far more than just accommodation — it felt like staying with friends in a picturesque corner of France. We're already planning to come back with the family.

Amazing, beautiful house with a stunning heated pool. David and Wayne are the best hosts and really care that their guests have a good time. Great breakfasts and dinners. Use of electric bikes. This is the perfect place to stay.

Wayne en David zorgen dat je niets tekort komt. Alles is uitstekend geregeld. Kamer, zwembad, ontbijt en voortreffelijk diner op een prachtige locatie. Zeker nog een keer terug als we in de buurt zijn.

Niets viel tegen. Alles boven verwachting.
