Fantastic colonial house renovated with perfection. Very large and comfortable beds and bathrooms. Nice garden and outdoor veranda and beautiful breakfast room. The hosts prepared outstanding breakfasts and kids loved fresh made pancakes and adults omelette and home baked bread. Also free soft drinks and beer so enjoy in the evening.
Location with a short walk to city center and great base for hikes in the parks and 15 min to Natural Bridge.
Would love to come back if we pass by again. Thank you for a great stay. Not cheap but still great value and worth it.

The owner was exceptionally nice and the food was delicious! She gave us a tour and told us of the house history. The grounds were beautiful

Another teen decided to join the trip and they provided the additional room to make up the suite. Priceless! The breakfast choices were amazing, from avocado toast to omelettes. My daughter raves about the toast and the omelette at the top of my favorites! Their fresh baked bread was a wonderful indulgence.
I only wish this weren’t my last visit to Lexington as a VMI parent! I would have stayed here over & over the years.

The hospitality was 2nd to none. The house & grounds are beautiful and comes with lots of history. I highly recommend staying at Stonegate. You won't regret it.
