Vega apartments

Clean property, located nearly centered in Podgora. Small grocery shop is located around 5-10min walk. Nice host. AC in the room. We got shifted towels and bad linen in the middle of stay.

Before choosing this property I red comments on booking and was surprised about lady who got ground floor room. I was thinking how this was possible. When we arrived, it was a bit difficult to find property, since no street number is shown description. One have to see for house 32. The host showed us our booked room and it was in the ground floor despite my expectation. Later on I checked description on booking and indeed the balcony choice belongs to another apartment which was rather misleading to us. I would say that wouldn't book ground floor if I have choice. But ok, the apartment was clean and fine, with yellow tiles in kitchen if you check the pictures. Pay attention that there is no ventilation hood in the kitchen and all evaporation from cooking stays inside. Its assumed that one have to use windows. There is no dishwasher or laundry machine in apartment. I was definitely missing those with to small kids. Garbage separation bins are located in front of entry close to staircase, With time they start to smell. In spite that those were not main garbage bin, however, I believe they have to be moved to appropriate place. I experienced that it was rather noisy from staircase, especially when other guests from 1 and 2 floor were coming back evening time. We got parking slot a bit away on the hill. It was fine with locker, but the car was out of vision range. The water was constantly on the bathroom floor after every showering and no floor mop was available. The terrace was relatively good size, larger than balcony over us but with a lot of mosquitos, make sure you have anti-mosquito plug-in with you. We got to pillows regular size and to super huge and uncomfortable, "grandma style", those should definitely be replaced. One of the most irritating moments is that owners of next property, right side from terrace, are heavy smokers. Each time I was on terrace I got smoke cloud instead of nice Croatian air with herbs.
