The Mayor's Cottage -- Cozy cottage in downtown with easy access to everything

The Mayors Cottage is a “somewhere in time” experience. The furnishings and books etc are from an earlier time and add tremendously to your experience. The backyard is fenced and is wonderful if you have a dog and for sitting outside and listening to the birds singing. The cottage is one block from the downtown which is a wonderful shopping experience. In addition the cottage is one block from the community theatre where you can enjoy community theatre. We have visited the cottage three times and will return in the fall. It has become home away from home.

Staying in the Mayor's Cottage was pure delight. It is exactly as advertised, and immaculate. My dogs enjoyed the fenced back yard and I loved being walking-distance close to downtown Waynesville.

This property was wonderful! So perfectly decorated, like stepping back in time:) This cottage was immaculate, very clean. The location was ideal, only 2 blocks from the Main Street. This was easy walking distance. Our host was attentive and communication was stellar. Next time back in Waynesville we will stay here again!

A perfect weekend was made even better by this cute little cottage. Not only was it super charming, but it was incredibly clean and very well located to downtown. All the little details from the push button switches to the wood paneling really made this a fun place to stay for a vintage house lover like myself. Molly was also very informative and quick to respond to any questions we had. If you want to be able walk to downtown in no time yet have a quiet place to sleep this is the place to stay.
