Crackers - Pet Friendly, Jetty Location, Walk to Restaurants

We stayed at Crackers for a few nights with our Westie and overall had a lovely stay. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the Jetty precinct, making it easy to explore the harbour, restaurants and foreshore. The accommodation was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning/heating kept the unit cosy. It was also great to find genuinely dog-friendly accommodation. The only downside for us was that the unit was quite bright early in the morning and there was noticeable road noise from early morning onwards, so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The comfortable bed, great location and dog-friendly welcome made it a great base for exploring Coffs Harbour.

A few things to be aware of if you’re planning to self-cater. The kitchenette includes a microwave, air fryer, electric grill pan and blender, but there were no microwave-safe bowls or cooking containers provided. There are also no laundry facilities, which may be worth considering if you’re staying for more than a few nights.

Property was on a noisy main road

Very clean and close to cafes, restaurants and the beach.

Street lighting filtering into the bedroom at night. Blockout curtains would solve the issue. Limited cooking options. A single cook top and a saucepan would be great.

The bed was comfy.

While the location is close to the beach and restaurants its on a very busy and noisy road, near the rail line & under a flight path. This is the front part of a house. The back part is a business. There's only a wall between so you can hear people talking. There is not direct access to the fenced yard if you have a dog. You need to go onto the porch which is not fenced before putting the dog into the yard.
