Gather with your friends and family around the vaulted great room with the massive fireplace and open kitchen with forest views outside the windows at the Barlow Trail Lodge in Rhododendron. This tri-level custom-built home is ideal for a multi-family getaway or 4 couples. The huge great room includes a large kitchen with a breakfast bar and dining table that seats 10. Gather in front of the fireplace while watching TV or step outside to the fireplace under the covered porch or the private hot tub.
On the lower level, log in to your apps and watch TV shows, movies, and sporting events on the projector TV in the media room with a wet bar and game table. Just down the hall is a kid's game room with shuffleboard, Foosball, and lots of board games, puzzles, and kids' toys. The main laundry room with a washer and dryer is on the main level.
The primary en suite bedroom on the 3rd floor has a king bed and TV, a huge bathroom with jetted tub, and a walk-in shower with two shower heads plus a second washer and dryer. The main level includes a second king en suite bedroom and a queen bedroom with a full bathroom across the hall. The 3rd king en suite bedroom is on the lower level near the TV room and game room. The kids have the upper-level loft with 3 twin beds. There is also an office space with a desk and monitor in the loft area for checking your emails and logging in to work meetings.

This is a beautiful home and is located in a beautiful area. The only hiccup was that we got in late, and I hadn’t gotten info on how to get in to the property. Had to speak to VRBO people as the property manager didn’t answer or return my call. We finally got in after about 20 min, but were a little worried! Come to find out, the property manager sent an email that went to my junk mail, so I never saw it. I feel this could be corrected easily if they would respond through the VRBO app. We did however truly enjoy our stay! Very large and comfortable home.

Plenty of space to spread around house during family vacation (10 family members) ages 16-80 years. Wish we had stayed an extra day just to enjoy more of the house. The younger crowd enjoyed the basement rec room watching movies and playing games in the late evening. The older ones had main floor all to themselves. The two bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the main floor were quite convenient for those who couldn’t walk upstairs to the loft and master bedroom or down to the basement bedroom and rec rooms. The house is more spectacular in person. The beautiful kitchen and wrap around porch were favorites also. There are (4) full bathrooms in the home- (2) on main floor, (1) upstairs with laundry, and (1) in the basement. The main floor also has a laundry room. We were able to visit Mt Hood area lakes easily as well as drive to waterfalls (1h to 1.5h away). There is a corner store about 3.5 miles away that has a little bit of everything in case you need forget anything. They also have live bait and can issue fishing licenses.

Great cabin with lots of space and amenities for large groups. Stayed here with 9 guys for a weekend and had a blast!

Very nice home for our 4 children and 4 grands.Decorated for Christmas beautifully.Lots of fun playing hide n seek and games. Clean and spacious .Love the windows and skylights.Enjoyed warmth of fireplace.
