About this house rental

Located in Huron, this welcoming vacation home lets you experience it all. Thanks to the convenient onsite parking, you can either leave your vehicle behind and enjoy a short 5-minute walk to Lake Erie, or easily tackle the quick 3-minute drive to Old Woman Creek State Nature Preserve.

After you return to this 1092-sq-ft vacation home, unwind in the garden or sip a drink by the firepit, and don't forget about the outdoor furniture. As for the great indoors, you can come inside and enjoy the WiFi and TV.

As you settle into this 3-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom rental, you'll find a living room, a dining area, a BBQ grill, and air conditioning. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, towels, and toilet paper. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, a microwave, and cookware. And thanks to the washer and dryer, you'll even be able to travel light.

Check-in was easy, no issues. Everything we needed amenities-wise was provided. House was very clean and very cool upon arrival. The street was quiet for sleeping and a quick walk to Nickel Beach. We spent a day at Cedar Point and it was a quick 20-min drive. Great location to putz around the lake area.

Old Homestead is a great neighborhood for families with young kids looking for easy access to the beach. A quiet neighborhood that is perfect for kids on bicycles and morning walks. The house has been renovated with cute decor and the living room/kitchen were spacious. The bunk room is great for kids. Communication with host was great. Only improvement suggestions are to upgrade the mattresses/pillows for a more comfortable night sleep and a bit more attention to detail in cleaning. Otherwise a great little house for a quick Lake Erie beach neighborhood getaway.

Our family of 7 enjoyed a 4 night stay. Our primary purpose was to spend 2 days at Cedar Point, and this location was a less than 20 minute drive (VERY easy). The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well outfitted for preparing meals (dishes, pots/pans, utensils, etc.). Dining table matched the number of people the property can sleep so we could all eat at the table together. Bath and beach towels were both provided. There were chairs for sitting out front on the porch (under cover which was nice for when there was a rainy day) and out back. A/C worked well. Two highly rated restaurants, grocery store, drug store less than a mile away. Less than 5 min walk to private beach. In town (5+ min drive) there are more restaurants, bowling alley, fishing pier, ice cream shop, and opportunities to rent bikes & kayaks (which the weather, unfortunately, didn't permit us to do!). Property management very responsive. We would absolutely stay here again.
