Many Happy Returns - Belle of Maine Cottage 9

Location is great: in the center of Wells, short drive to the beach, short drive to the grocery store. Pool and hot-tub are great: not crowded, kids had an amazing time Beds were comfortable Cottage is small but nice for a small family Good quality soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided Puzzles, beach chairs, towels available

The place was not clean at all: bed sheets were stained, hairs in the shower, dishes were dirty (maybe the previous customers did not wash them properly so it's not necessary the owner's fault), the veranda was cluttered with clothes that were not ours and the furniture was misplaced, windows were dirty. Problem with hot water (had to wait up to 5 minutes to get hot water... someone came claiming he would call a plumber.. did not happen as I think this is a known issue and there is no will to fix it) There was a big hole in the blinders in the main bedroom. There was no dish towels. We had to buy some at Dollar Tree. Weird smell coming up from time to time (sulfuric).
