Чудовий затишний будинок!!!

Симпатичний грецький будинок, старовинний, але повністю відновлений і відремонтований. Повністю обладнана велика кухня, є вся необхідна кухонна техніка. Нагорі три симпатичних спальні. Також великий плюс- затишний внутрішній дворик. Є технічне приміщення з пральною машиною і сушаркою. Вдасник Дімітрос постійно на звʼязку, 24/7, одразу відгукується і якщо потрібно, допомагає. Нам все дуже сподобалось!!!

Notre fabuleux séjour à Corfou

Notre sejour a été merveilleux. Cette maison est vraiment très accueillanne perchée au calme dans le petit village de Makrades pas très loin de Paleokastritsa, avec plusieurs restaurants tout proche et où l'on mange bien.. Elle est très bien équipée et confortable. Il y a également un jardin super agréable. Enfin, Dimitris - le propriétaire - est très sympathique, serviable et avenant. N'hésitez pas à y séjourner, j'espère que vous aurez autant de plaisir que nous.

The house in Makrades is perfect for those wanting to stay in a quiet, traditional Greek village.

We mostly loved the owner, Dimitris, and the people we met in the village. Though Dimitris was not there but he was a great communicator and accommodated us in every way he could. We were really grateful - thank you, Dimitris. Makrades is a small, very traditional village (yes, it has two or three tourist shops - Wood & Art was a particularly good one and the family that does all the beautiful olive woodwork is creating right nearby) but it is not a tourist-filled place. This was a great relief. There are four very walkable and acceptable restaurants and the backyard of the house presented us with a wonderful venue morning, noon and night. The beautiful shade tree was just so great and the breeze coming down the hill just fabulous. We would not hesitate to come back and to recommend the house to friends and family.

Makrades is not an easy commute to local amenities or beaches - it is up a narrow road that requires traveling through Lakones where there are two traffic lights (with 7 minute waits) controlling the direction of traffic to allow huge buses and normal cars to pass one another. There is another way out - heading north - but also quite a lot of driving required. As for the house itself, there was little not to like. A wonderful old house, renovated and comfortable with lots of room land a family feel to it. It didn't have a view of any kind but we knew that in advance. One of our traveling companions struggled with the plumbing that did not allow us to put toilet paper into the toilet but that is something very common on Corfu. We are rathre fit for our age but the narrow spiral staircase was a challenge and should probably be mentioned in the property description - just so people know. It could be a real problem for those less physically fit.
