The location is perfect. Right in the middle of town (Which is tiny), up a little lane. The house backs onto a field and was very quiet. The house is bright and very spacious, and has a lovely modern kitchen with everything you could need. There is also a nice area to sit outside through the bifold doors from the dining room; the cushions are in the storage container down the side of the house.
The living room, dining room and kitchen are all connected in an open plan, L shape, but well designed so each space feels separate. There is a downstairs toilet and plenty of room for shoes and coats as you come in the door. There are four bedrooms: one double en-suite, two double bedrooms, and one room with two single beds. They are all spacious and quiet at night. The family bathroom is bright, clean and a good size with a bath, separate shower, sink and toilet. The en-suite bathroom is smaller but has a large shower, toilet and sink.
You can park right outside the door. We have a Ford S Max, which is pretty long, and it was just comfortable enough to turn around outside the property to drive out of the lane. You CANNOT reverse out of the lane, as it goes directly onto the main road and is VERY narrow with a sharp, tight bend.
Overall, I would definitely book this property again as it had everything we needed for a week's stay. It was very clean, and it feels isolated when you look out of the windows. We were also welcomed with a tasty treat in the kitchen when we arrived. Thank you.
Note that the drive to this property is NOT directly right after the roundabout and through the black gates. It is the next small, grassy lane, a few feet further on, which is sandwiched between 2 buildings and very easy to miss. It does not look like you could drive down it, but you can. There is a small sign on the wall, but again, easily missed.
Also note that you will need to buy or bring toilet rolls, as there is only one provided in each toilet.
There were some tiny things that do not justify mentioning, really. But I wish there could have been a chest of drawers in the double bedroom I used. There is a wardrobe with a drawer at the bottom, but as we were there for a week, I would have liked to unpack properly and put my bottles of stuff on top of a dresser instead of the windowsill, where I kept knocking them over while closing the blind.

Excellent base. It felt like being in the countryside, with cows and rabbits in the field behind, yet we were just off the High street in Tintagel. Comfortable house for seven people, one dog and three cars, we did not feel cramped. House was well equipped, quiet and owners messaged several times to check we we were ok. Welcome pack included a pint or milk which was most welcome.
Can't fault or even suggest improvements, which is unusual for me :)
