About this house rental

Our home has views of the Pacific Ocean, Doran Beach, Bodega Head, Inner Bodega Bay and the 10th hole the Trenton Jones Golf Course from most of the rooms. Located in South Bodega Harbor, this spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is a short walk to the beach and the club house. Once in the house, visitors will find a beautifully remodeled kitchen and bathrooms all on one level. Front deck has fantastic views of the bay. The back deck includes a hot tub and gas Weber BBQ. Margaret is an hotelier and loves hosting our guests.

The master bedroom has a California King while the second and third rooms have a queen bed each. Large flat screen TV in the living room and in the master bedroom.

Our kitchen has Wolf oven, cooktop and microwave and Subzero refrigerator. Additional, it is stocked with many kitchen aid mixer, Keurig, Nespresso and regular coffee maker.

The bathrooms are beautifully remodeled.

Our home is solar powered and has a Tesla charger.

This home is great for couples and families with a pack n play and kid toys!

This property is stunning, bright and well decorated and offers gorgeous views from every room. It felt peaceful and welcoming like a true home away from home. Everything was clean and tidy. The kitchen is impressively well stocked, which made dining in easy. The host is very responsive and thoughtful, making every aspect of our visit from arrival to departure easy. One of our favorite VRBOs. Very clean and beautiful home. The ocean and golf course views are wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. 3 bathrooms - one for each room! All clean. Tons of towels. The hot tub was perfect temp and great to use. Easy to get to and very safe neighborhood. The host provided great instructions and was very easy to reach. Simply wonderful stay!

House was perfect. There were 3 couples, rooms perfect for each couple. The views were amazing. We came here for the Sonoma wineries and bodega bay views and we got both! The hot tub was warm and welcoming after a day at the winery. Beds comfy, and house very clean. Very important to me and the home did not disappoint. Host had a list of local eateries. Very helpful. We flew into SFO and drove up. Very beautiful drive. The rolling green hills and escape from the business was an additional plus. Got to enjoy the “play list”.We will be repeat guest again without a doubt.

We throughly enjoyed everything about our weekend in Bodega at this beautiful home! The kitchen is heavenly, the three separate bedrooms- each with their own bathroom space. The hot tub! The deck! The view! The fireplace!!!! Really though, the best part might have been the service and kindness shared from the homeowner. We use VRBO often and in Bodega, we tend to use the local property management company, but the service we got this weekend was the best we’ve ever had. She went out of her way for us and it set in motion the most memorable 50th birthday celebration!!! Thank you!!!

The property and location are beautiful. Margaret was easy to communicate with. The kitchen is very well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated being able to park in the garage although the stairs are steep and there are a couple of level changes to watch out for on the main floor. This was such an ideal get-away. The house is pristine and beautifully appointed. The views are unmatched. The hosts were kind, communicative, efficient and quick to respond. The neighborhood is not only surrounded by beauty there are plenty of walking paths and a couple different trails to the beach both easy and challenging. The bedroom/bathroom layout was ideal as each is in their own quadrant of the house. Parking in the garage was a nice plus. The house was fully stocked with absolutely everything one needs. Everyone in our party wants to make this an annual retreat. This property is a treat! Wish I could have stayed longer!

Heron House is a beautiful and comfortably spacious home, with wonderful views of the ocean. The kitchen is very well-appointed, has top-of-the-line appliances, and was stocked with staples. We also enjoyed making a bbq on the gas grill. Bathrooms are modern and clean, and the hot tub is fabulous. The beach is quiet and a roughly 5-minute walk away. Plus there are lovely towns to visit within a 20-30 minute drive. We look forward to coming back!

This home sits with an ocean and bay view as and the golf course too. The house has anything you need for a comfortable stay. The place is close to everything Bodega Bay offers like the beach, restaurants (Fishetarian and Spud Mt were awesome), shops, etc. Easy drive up the coast and to Sevastopol. Highly recommend and would NOT hesitate to stay here again.

We had a great time! The house was very clean, and well maintained. It had everything we could possibly need. There were plenty of towels for the bathrooms, hot tub, and kitchen. The garage had beach chairs and towels/blankets for us to use. The open floor plan of the kitchen and living room was exactly what we were looking for so we could all enjoy each other while we cooked and ate our meals. Plenty of seating around the table and bar area. We also loved the deck- spending each morning out there! Plenty of seating on the deck too. Margaret was amazing. We have rented many homes in BB, and she is by far the best! It was so nice to speak with the owner (Margaret) before our trip, and have her contact number in case of any questions while we were there. When we arrived, we discovered she left out homemade jam, a bottle of bubbly, and some local saltwater taffy. Such a nice personal touch. The walk to the beach was so close, and we walked there a couple times a day. We plan to make the trip an annual one, and we definitely hope to rent this home from Margaret again! We are still on the hunt for another home that is close to this one, as the second home we rented on the same weekend through a different agency was not as well maintained.

We wanted to spoil my mom for her 60th birthday and this was the place to do it! We LOVED staying in Bodega Bay, and this house was FABULOUS!! Margaret was super helpful and left a bottle of champagne and other treats for us. The drive to other parts of Sonoma wasn’t bad either. Overall, it was a 10/10 trip, and Margaret’s place made the trip all the more enjoyable!
