Castello Montesasso

A true rustic Italian property which was just what we were looking for. It was extremely spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. Elisa was also extremely helpful and was always only a phone call or message away.

Luogo meraviglioso : struttura incantevole, vista pazzesca e silenzio assoluto. dotata di tutti i confort! Bagni puliti e letti caldi, cucina organizzata! Hanno anche un'azienda vitivinicola biologica , abbiamo così deciso di acquistare qualche bottiglia e il giorno seguente la proprietaria ci ha offerto e aperto una bottiglia da degustare , qualche fetta di salame, parmigiano e piadina calda. Da tornarci!

Elisa is such a welcoming, nice person. She was there every time we wanted to ask something and could reach her via WhatsApp. She gave us a lot of tips and alternatives for the case we couldn't do it with the dog (example the beach) The pool is not too big, but it was perfect for the three children in our party and to have a few adults in it to play with and supervise the kids. The yard is big. There are seats and shading umbrellas at three levels. The house is so quiet, you couldn't hear the children that were out of bed. You couldn't hear anything of the other rooms in our party. With 3 families it was a plus to have two bathrooms. In the kitchen is a big refrigerator with water dispenser. Also a big freezer. The outdoor kitchen also had a refrigerator so in total you could store a lot. We also had the wine tasting and Elisa had very tasteful wines that we bought. The spumanti is wonderful. I regret not buying more

The outdoor kitchen doesn't have warm water (only one faucet) so we went up to the house for the dishes. Maybe in time a small boiler would be useful. We could have used a bit more shelves as we bought half of the conad store as late night snacks and breakfast. When you are not very mobile the three levels (that show on the pictures) outside will not be your best choice. The location is good for hiking but if you want to really go visit cities you will quickly have to drive up to an hour. (San Marino, San Leo, Rimini ...)

Fabulous location and very dog friendly. Great enclosed garden for the dogs

Would have been handy to have things like a kettle, microwave and dishwasher
