This Suvereto apartment may be small, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in charm. Walls of exposed stone, sumptuous antique beds and ceilings adorned with wooden beams paint the picture of a traditional Tuscan holiday. Yet, in spite of the compact size, the kitchen and bathroom are sleek, stylish and modern, just the ticket for two. The window seat is our favourite spot – in the mornings, there's nothing better than enjoying an espresso as the smell of fresh-baked bread rises from the bakery below. One of Tuscany's hidden gems, Suvereto is rife with old-world character – picture medieval walls, cobblestone streets and sidewalk cafes overlooking ancient churches. We love the laid-back pace of life here, but with vineyards, hiking trails and beaches like Spiaggia di Rimigliano all a short drive away, you'll be well-placed for exploring, too.
