About this villa rental

Close to the ocean, this smoke-free villa brings it all within reach. Bay of Biscay is just steps away and Plage de la Pointe de Grignon is within an easy 10-minute walk, so leave your car at the property, which offers covered onsite parking.

After you return, you can unwind by the heated pool or sip a drink in the garden; you may also like the BBQ grill. As for the great indoors, you can try your hand at table tennis, or enjoy the free WiFi and cable/satellite TV.

No need to pay for a restaurant every night, when you've got an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator on hand, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. And you won't have to pack extra clothes, because you'll have a washer and dryer, too. Other amenities include bed sheets and an ironing board.

Jacuzzi great if that’s your thing. Location a 10 min walk from town and the majority of the restaurants, 25 min cycle ride from our favourite beaches around the phare. This was our 2nd stay here and we would definitely return again.

The Villa is the perfect base to explore the island - easy to walk or cycle into Ars-en-Re and the beach. The selling point for us was the pool area and the wonderful view of the Pine Forest as a backdrop with the sound of the sea in the background. The pool was a great size with lots of space around the pool to relax. The hot tub was good but not necessary during our stay as temp averaged 30 degrees. The BBQ and table tennis was used on a daily basis - lots of family fun time. Inside the Villa the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need and all bedrooms were a great size with ensuite bathrooms. The overall look and feel of the Villa is shabby chic which we appreciated with the Il de Re vibe however if you are looking for a brand new, glossy Villa then you maybe disappointed. We will definitely be back!

You will not regret a stay at Le Pin. We were warmly welcomed by Maryse who was very helpful, the house is very clean and well equipped and has the feeling of being a truly family holiday home, not just a holiday rental. It is well situated to explore and access Ars, although it is worth noting that the local beaches are quite rocky and/or seaweed strewn plus the cycle paths through the woods are very sandy. The best beaches are towards the top of the island. The pool was lovely, being salt water and there are plenty of good restaurants within east reach if you don’t want to fire up the barbecue. We hope to return to the house and Ars in the near future!!

The pool was fantastic! Agency was nice but they only speak French - so 4/5 stars. Area is very quiet and scenic.
