Laurent and Cedric were very welcoming and extremely helpful with information on how to get around, places to eat, and attractions to see.

We liked the aesthetic of the property, the peaceful atmosphere, and how welcoming the hosts were during our short stay. The location was convenient for getting around Puerto Princesa, and the property overall felt clean and well cared for.

The main issue for us was the room temperature overnight. Even with the AC and fan running (windows and doors closed), the room never became cool enough for us to sleep comfortably in the heat and humidity, which led us to book another place for the rest of our stay.

The place is beautiful on the outside — the design is charming and impressive. I even booked their most expensive room, supposedly with AC, hoping for a comfortable experience. The few positives: ✔️ Spacious and beautifully designed room ✔️ Reliable WiFi (great for digital nomads) ✔️ Drinks were nicely presented

❌ It was our last full day, and we just wanted to relax indoors. Unfortunately, the room was boiling even at night — the “AC” turned out to be a weak portable unit that couldn’t even cool us down while sitting directly in front of it. I work night shifts, and staying outside wasn’t an option because of mosquitoes, so I was stuck working in bed, sweating. ❌ The worst moment: while having afternoon drinks with my partner at the common dining area, we saw one of the hosts, Cedric, completely NAKED — yes, totally unclothed — casually changing outside his room after watering plants. It was shocking, uncomfortable, and completely inappropriate. ❌ On checkout day, we were packed and ready to go by 11:00am, but while taking a quick photo outside our room at 11:03 to close our trip, Cedric annoyingly said, “It’s already past 11.” We hurriedly grabbed our things, and as we were leaving, he literally just said, “Thank you, goodbye,” and swung the gate wide open without another word. We were out on the road by 11:11. ❌ We didn’t even ask to leave our bags until our 3pm flight — partly because of similar complaints in other reviews, but mostly because we didn’t want to come back. To be fair, Laurent, the other host, was friendly and polite during the earlier part of our stay — it’s just unfortunate that the overall experience was tainted by everything else.
