This 2500 sqft family-style home boasts 2 bedrooms (2 queens and trundle bed with two twins) a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room and 2.5 baths making it a perfect get-away vacation. The open-concept living room, dining space on patio, and kitchen is ideal for the family gathering.
This waterfront home is nestled on the shores of Lake Wylie in Charlotte, NC. It's one of the rare properties on the lake with its’ own private beach - ideal for young children and families to enjoy. This 2500sqft family-style home boasts 2 bedrooms (2 queens and trundle bed with two twin mattresses) a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room and 2.5 baths making it a perfect get-away vacation. The cozy yet open-concept living room, dining space on patio, and kitchen is ideal for the family gathering.

Located just 20 mins from uptown Charlotte, this home is convenient to all the surrounding area has to offer (mall, restaurants, grocery, marina are all less than 5 minutes from the house). Even though you are close to retail shops and malls, you'll escape from the busy world when you drive down our 1/2 mile wooded gravel road that only serves 4 homes.

LIVING AREA:
The bottom level of the home is the large open-concept family room with lots of seating, a new 48 inch smart TV with ROKU and Netflix, a long dining room table on patio, Apple AirPlay & home pods, and a FULLY stocked kitchen with dishes, glassware, pot and pans, appliances, and a center island with seating. The top level of the home features a second bedroom with windows overlooking another large deck and the lake.
BEDROOMS:
There is one bedroom upstairs and one down. Downstairs master suite has a queen bed and living room space with a cozy couch. Upstairs bedroom has a queen with a trundle bed with two twin mattress. Perfect for a second couple or the kids. Each of the bedrooms are spacious and private. All towels and linens are provided and washed for you after your stay (guests are welcome to use washer/dryer).
DOCK:
There is a stone walkway from the house down to the dock, connected by another patio with a fire pit and chairs. Atop of the dock, there is a huge 35x35 outdoor living space with couches, dining table and chairs, a gas fire pit with adirondack chairs, speakers, ceiling fan, and full wifi. A great place to watch wildlife, watch the sun rise/set, or just relax with some cocktails with your family and friends. Also includes space to tie up your own boat on the side.
AMENITIES:
There is a private walk way from the house to the private beach area and sitting area on the shore. The house is equipped with High-speed broadband Wi-Fi internet that works all the way down to the beach.
This home has three smart TV's with Apple AirPlay as well as Netflix, Hulu and assorted live channels. You can access the high speed wireless internet from anywhere on the property. The TV’s are located in the living room, master bedroom, and upstairs bedroom.
ON-SITE BOAT DOCK NOW AVAILABLE:
This house is one of the only lake homes around Charlotte with two boat slips available the duration of your stay. Bring your own boat and launch it at Papa Doc's, a short 5 minute boat ride, and park attached the the dock. The owner may have their boat here in the other slip, so if you need more than one spot, make sure you check in advance.
The lake is huge -- full of beautiful houses, on the water restaurants with boat parking (T-Bones!), and tons of cool Sand Bars and islands to hang out on -- EXPLORE IT!
LARGE BEACH FOR SWIMMING OR COZY FIREPIT NIGHTS!
Our Casita is a 5 minute walk from the public beach area that includes multiple swings, benches, kids playground and walking paths. Includes a large firepit with wood (included) and unlimited views!

Our guests have access to the Guest House portion of the property.
The Neighborhood:
Located just 20 mins from uptown Charlotte, this home is convenient to all the surrounding area has to offer (mall, restaurants, grocery, marina are all less than 5 minutes from the house). Even though you are close to retail shops and malls, you'll escape from the busy world when you drive down our 1/2 mile wooded gravel road that only serves 4 homes.
Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are very active in Charlotte. Ask us about our connection for pontoon boat rentals!
Other Things to Note:
***We have a zero-tolerance policy for parties or gatherings. We use a noise sensor to detect the noise level inside the suite. The guest amount on your reservation must match the number of guests that will be on the property at any given time. There is a $1000 fee for any parties or gatherings. We do utilize local law enforcement if you cannot abide by these rules and you will be asked to vacate at your own expense. This is a smoke free property. Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside the home. There is a $1000 fee for smoking inside.***
We are happy to host furry family members for a non-refundable fee of $300 per pet.
Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am. Please be respectful of our neighbors as they are permanent residents.

Enjoyed our stay (4 mid 70's people). Construction at the property didn't really bother us. We did have some trouble entering the garage which appeared to be a keypad malfunction but did communicate this to a lady on site. Used the inside door keypad for entry. This meant leaving the garage door up about 2 hours a day, but kept it closed whenever we were at the house.Nice quiet location with great weather.Clifton & Lynn MooreTom & Maxine Carlyle

Stunning view. Good pier fishing, fire pit availability, beautiful landscaping, and wonderful n thoughtful accommodations. Will return with relatives our next visit to Charlotte. Wishing the owners nothing but the best for their hard work.

The pictures from the listing are not the same as the actual house. I’m assuming they are from the previous owners listing. The furniture is minimal. The master bed is only a (very uncomfortable) full size. As a family of 4, we could not all sit comfortably in the living room.
In my opinion, the house isn’t ready for rental until renovations at the main house are complete. We found it hard to fully relax. There were different people and companies in and out all day and night. Someone showed up at 9:30 at night to work on the boat. We wouldn’t mind if we had known they were coming.
It has the potential to be a great place to stay but we just don’t feel like it’s there yet, especially for the price we paid.
