The space

Discover the perfect retreat at our charming two-story house in Norton Commons! With three bedrooms and 2.5 baths, this cozy haven accommodates six adults/children. The master bedroom boasts a king bed, memory foam mattress, Smart TV, and en-suite bath. Two additional bedrooms feature a queen and two twin beds, both with Smart TVs. Enjoy full access to the house, excluding the unfinished basement. Need baby essentials? Request our portable crib, booster, and baby gates. Get ready to relax and make memories!

Access to the house is granted with an access code using August smart lock. Two dedicated parking spaces and open street parking .
Other things to note
Everything you need is within a 10 to 15 minute walk in the neighborhood, including the YMCA. If you leave the neighborhood, there is major outdoor shopping center, Costco, Target, Walmart, Kroger, Walgreens, restaurants and hospitals within a 10 to 15 minute drive.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Reserving guest must be at least 25 years of age and must be present during the entire rental period. No third-party bookings allowed. A photo of government IDs required for each registered adult and must be provided within 72 hours of booking.

MAXIMUM GUESTS: The maximum amount of overnight guests is 6 (sleeps up to 6 adults/children). Only guests listed on the reservation are allowed to stay overnight at the property. Day guests are allowed with prior approval.

NO PETS: No pets are allowed, including emotional support animals and therapy animals. If it is discovered a pet is on the property, all guests will be asked to leave the home immediately with no refund for the remainder of the reservation. Also request that any potential guest with an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) service animal please message before booking.

SMOKING/NICOTINE PRODUCTS/ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES PROHIBITED: The home is a nicotine-free establishment. No cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cigars, vaping devices, illegal substances, etc., are permitted on the property, indoors or outdoors.

NO PARTIES, EVENTS, OR LARGE GATHERINGS: Guests are prohibited from organizing or allowing a disruptive party or event, or large gatherings. If it is discovered there is a violation of this rule, all guests will be asked to leave the home immediately with no refund for the remainder of the reservation.

QUIET HOURS: The home is located in a residential neighborhood. As a general courtesy, we ask that guests be mindful of the amount of noise they create, especially between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.

PARKING: Vehicles may be parked in two assigned parking spaces. Street parking also available.

SECURITY CAMERAS/RECORDING DEVICES: For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have security cameras/recording devices located on the outside of the home focused on entrances to the property, as well as the backyard . Guests should not attempt to disable or move the security cameras/recording devices.

In addition, the finer touches Nicole (host) thoughout were above and beyond - welcoming at every turn! Everything a guest would need was available as stated.Restaurants and boutique shopping within walking distance, as well as Peppermint Cottage is within a wonderful walking neighborhood. Nicole (host) was a fantastic host - kind and very responsive. We definitely recommend Peppermint Cottage and definitley look forward to returning!

    We booked our stay at Peppermint Cottage less than 24 hours in advance. Despite the short notice, Nicole made our stay so incredibly welcoming and comfortable. She had decorated the house for Halloween, stocked Halloween-themed snacks for kids, provided s’mores ingredients, and more. Everything we could have needed was provided, and everything from the furniture to the plates was of high quality and in excellent condition. Nicole also went out of her way to share information about the neighborhood and local area when we mentioned we were there on a house hunting trip. Our stay at Peppermint Cottage was easily the best stay at a vacation rental our family has ever experienced and I will absolutely be recommending this location to future guests of ours who visit the area. Thank you, Nicole! Loved it!

    Our second stay at peppermint cottage in as many years. Truly a 10 out of 10 experience. They make you feel welcome and go above and beyond. The area continues to add shops, stores, and food making it an even more delightful destination. One of our favorite spots (ever).

    Peppermint Cottage is a fabulous place to stay. The home is very clean and well stocked and Nicole is easy to communicate with. Norton Commons is a walkable neighborhood but also still conveniently located near the highway if you are traveling elsewhere. We hope to return in the future!

    In town for a simple weekend to see family. This place is in a great location and was very clean. I’ve used Vrbo to book all my travels over the last few years. I like to filter my searches for Premier Hosts to ensure best quality. Nicole was by far the best host we’ve ever stayed through. She went above and beyond to make sure our weekend was perfect.
