Wildlife, deer and massive trees add to the charm of this property. Matthew has restored this lovely cottage to an efficient and comfortable space. I've stayed at this property probably 6 times now. I will always come back when I am in town for work. I love that the location is close to downtown but also feels miles away in the countryside. Its a beautiful area, close to so many attractions, and the hosts are fantastic. The master bed is the best nights sleep! Cant wait to be back again!

This was our second long-term rental at this wonderful remodeled and updated house tucked away in a beautiful, secluded neighborhood. Everything was just as we left it almost a year ago, thankfully, because that 30-day stay was perfect! The property description is 100% accurate and even downplays the amenities and features, including special decorating touches that truly make it feel like a home away from home. Owner Matthew was again welcoming and super responsive. He has a gift for professional hospitality! We feel like friends, and hope to return again soon when we visit our family in Louisville.

Hummingbird was our first Vrbo rental. It was a truly wonderful experience, exactly as described and even better in many ways. For thirty days we lived in this beautiful, wooded and quiet neighborhood, explored the area and learned more about what it means to be "Louisvillians". Our hosts were the best, always there and ready to assist with anything we needed. After just a short while we felt more like neighbors than guests! We really hated to leave but will look forward to the next chance we have to visit again from Tucson - it's a perfect way to escape the desert in summer.

Exactly what we were looking for in Louisville. The neighborhood was so cute and good location. We were at a event at KICC all weekend and the location of the property was perfect, just enough out of the city but still close enough. It was so clean and welcoming. We had a great time and the house was very cute and perfect for our group of 4! There were a Few things we all talked about - the furniture was not the most comfortable for lounging and the chairs at the kitchen table were not comfortable to sit in for an extended time. The walkways were not the easiest to walk on. With all of that it was a super cute house and we had a great stay - great communication with the owner! We would not hestitate to stay there again.

Such a nice home, in a nice neighborhood, and close to everything we wanted to visit in Louisville. Communication with host was phenomenal. There was never a question of what we needed for check-in, our stay, or check-out. The home was stocked with basic essentials like coffee pods, creamer, salt, pepper, etc. In addition, there were extras, like cotton swabs, plenty of towels, blankets, etc. We will definitely check availability when we are in Louisville again.

Completely updated cottage in a park like setting yet minutes away from stores and restaurants. We enjoyed coffee on the back deck in the morning and wine on the front porch in the evening. Our grandson played outside and we saw several deer. We will be back!

Beautiful home with great updates yet it still has the older home feel. Louisville memorabilia throughout the home gives it a very cool vibe! Beds are firm but comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend this home. Just a few things for people to know that I'm sure I just missed in the description. 1. If you are older 60+ or have bad knees, the walking paths to the house could give you issues. 2. If you love regular coffee, bring K cups. They supplied a variety but not of regular ole coffee. There isn't a regular drip coffee maker. 3. There are not tv's in either bedroom.
