About this house rental
What does ‘Weja’ mean (It’s pronounced ‘weejah’ but the way…). Well. It is an indigenous word, from the Nyoongar language, and it means ‘Emu’. In the warmer summer months, when there are less tourists, the Daddy emu wanders the streets with his chicks searching for water and food. The procession past 23 Ningaloo St is well tracked.
Weja is our new listing, and with that, it comes with fresh paint, new flooring, newly renovated kitchen, brand new appliances and bedding, and a crystal clear swimming pool to round it off. Situated less than 500m from the town centre, you can walk to the shops, cafes and the famous Froth Craft Brewery.
The original ‘Block Homes’ were built in the 1960’s by the American forces for their officers. Over the years, these sturdy homes have become favourites with locals and holiday makers alike. Highly sought after for their cooler in summer and warmer in winter capabilities.
Weja is a four bedroom two bathroom design, which will sleep eight in total. The main bedroom has a King bed, the second bedroom has a Queen bed, the third bedroom has a King Single and a Single, and the fourth bedroom has two Singles.
The family bathroom with a shower, toilet and vanity is off the hallway. The ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity are adjacent to the main bedroom.
A large living/dining space with huge flatscreen TV is in the main living room. The kitchen is fully renovated, with new appliances and a very functional built in laundry shares the space. All the mod cons are provided so that your holiday is ‘less work and more play.’
The outside living area will not disappoint. With large undercover verandah, a swimming pool, built in outdoor kitchen with sink, drinks fridge and hooded BBQ. The gardens are newly landscaped and there is plenty of front parking for a large boat and two vehicles.
No pets are allowed on this property. This property is not fully fenced at this time. No camping or caravans allowed.

We spent 5 days at Weja, we were 6 adults. It suited our purpose as we were out and about throughout our stay. A number of points are worth mentioning. On arrival there was no hairdryer (this was rectified the following day by the agent), the shower room had mould on the walls and the kitchen lacked some basics (salt/pepper etc).

very accommodating and for everyone to have their own beds (6 guys) was a blessing after a day out charter fishing, local to everything made it very easy to come home and chill ! highly recommended

Great property located close to town shops. Paid 600 per night so not cheap and felt a few improvements could be made. Outdoor lounge cushions need replacing, we descaled the kettle as was filthy. Some more plasticware and serving items would be good. Some mould in shower. GREAT tv for watching and comfy sofa's. Unreasonably strict with arrival time. We drove from Perth and arrived at 1.35pm and not allowed to enter property until 2pm even though cleaners had already left. Clean bedding and comfy beds. Need a proper flyscreen door to outdoor area as we had sooo many flies in the house. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We recently stayed with 2 families. There was plenty of room. Everything was clean and tidy and couches were very comfortable making evenings pleasant. Pool and outdoor area was wonderful and the property management were quick to respond and very friendly to deal with.
