Hampton Inn Colorado Springs Northeast

Facility was very clean. The staff were nice. Breakfast was pretty OK. I’m just not an omelette person, but otherwise you can find something to eat for breakfast.

Nothing negative about the property. Good location, nice property. I have nothing else to say but good. I definitely will come again.

The beds were pretty comfortable, and the room was clean. It was no frills, but it met my expectations and was comfortable for my adult son and me. We weren't in the room much because we were there for an event.

Although one of the desk staff was extremely friendly and as helpful as she could be, I had some major issues with the rest. I received a phone call in the middle of the event I traveled there for, informing me that my dog was being complained about. I explained that I did not have a dog, and was basically called a liar and told that my room would be inspected for the dog. I stated that I was uncomfortable with this and that I expected a phone call after the "inspection." I did get a phone call a half hour later, interrupting my event again, informing me that there was no dog in my room... When I returned to my room around 6 hours later, I found that the dead bolt on my door had been left engaged (propping the door open) and that my room had been unsecured for all those hours. This is a really bad way to do business. Not only was my clothing and jewelry left for anyone to take, but my son's computer with irreplaceable research on it was as well. We should be able to leave our things in our room, and they should be safe. There was no manager available that night, and my message was not returned the next day. When I called back to speak with him (I was still staying in the hotel at this point), he had no knowledge of any of this but said he would investigate. I have yet to hear back about it, and I figure I never will since it was around a month ago. This hotel would be a great place to stay for future events, but I don't think I can bring myself to stay there again if I never even hear about the "investigation" that took place. I also want to point out that I could have absolutely just written off the "dog" situation as a bad moment, but leaving my room unsecured after entering against my will with no explanation or resolution is just not ok.

Nice staff, room appeared clean; they had many breakfast choices but they were typical "free-breakfast" quality (not high), newer facility, nice pasture view in the back.

I really wish these hotels would put better soundproofing between rooms--or any at all. SO cheap. We could hear the extremely rude and loud family next door very clearly. Not good. The shower was so slippery it was scary--someone is going to get hurt. Breakfast was ok, but several items were not the right temp or some other issue, and the oatmeal needed nuts! For over 200 bucks a night, I don't think I would stay there again. I don't think I would stay there again for half that.
