Our stay at the Best Louis Hamilton Hotel Ocean Terrace in Busan was honestly one of the highlights of our entire Chuseok vacation. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped away from the busy pace of everyday life and into our own little coastal escape. My best friend Thuli and I stayed here as part of our Chuseok getaway, and the hotel ended up being the perfect setting for what we wanted from the trip: ocean views, beautiful surroundings, relaxation, good food, photos, drinks, laughter and plenty of memorable moments. 🌊 THE LOCATION — OCEANFRONT LIVING The biggest selling point of this hotel is, without a doubt, the location directly beside the ocean. There is something completely different about waking up and immediately seeing the sea. Rather than simply having an “ocean-view hotel,” this property actually makes the ocean feel like part of the hotel experience. The sound, the atmosphere and the open views created such a peaceful feeling. The Gijang location also gives the hotel a completely different atmosphere from staying in central Busan. It feels quieter, more relaxed and much more like a coastal getaway than a typical city hotel. And for our particular trip, that was exactly what we wanted. We spent so much of our vacation running around Busan, exploring, dressing up, going to Lotte World, eating, drinking and experiencing the city, so coming back to somewhere peaceful by the water was the perfect contrast. The hotel is also close to public transportation and several popular Busan attractions, although it is worth remembering that it is outside the central Busan area. Recent guests have similarly highlighted the peaceful oceanfront setting while noting the distance from central Busan. 🏨 THE HOTEL — MODERN, STYLISH & PHOTOGENIC The overall design of the hotel has a very modern, contemporary aesthetic. It has that slightly dramatic boutique-hotel feeling rather than looking like a standard business hotel. There are plenty of areas that photograph beautifully, which was especially important for us because we were documenting our Chuseok trip. The hotel really lends itself to photographs and videos. Whether you're taking photos in your room, filming content, getting ready with your best friend, capturing the ocean from the terrace or heading up to the rooftop, there are plenty of opportunities to create beautiful vacation content. And honestly, that's something I appreciated a lot. A hotel doesn't have to be enormous to feel luxurious. Sometimes it's about the setting, atmosphere and experience, and Ocean Terrace definitely delivers that. 🛏️ THE ROOM — THE OCEAN VIEW WAS EVERYTHING Our room was one of my favourite parts of the stay. The ocean view immediately made the room feel special. There's something about being able to sit inside your room and look out at the water that instantly changes the mood. Instead of feeling like you're simply staying somewhere overnight, it genuinely feels like you're on vacation. The room also gave us a comfortable space to relax, get ready and spend time together between activities. And because this was a girls' getaway with plenty of plans, having somewhere beautiful to come back to made a huge difference. Recent guest reviews consistently mention the ocean views as one of the hotel's strongest features, with guests describing the rooms as comfortable, modern and visually impressive. 🏊‍♂️ THE ROOFTOP POOL The rooftop pool was another major highlight. This is one of those hotel features where you immediately understand why people take photos there. Being up high with the ocean surrounding you creates such a beautiful backdrop, and it fits perfectly with the overall aesthetic of the property. The pool has that “I'm on vacation and I don't have anywhere else to be” feeling. For us, it wasn't simply about swimming. It was about enjoying the atmosphere, taking in the surroundings, getting photos and actually slowing down for a moment. Recent 202

The hotel is good but the problem is the smell

The view was good and the bed was comfortable but all that could not compensate for the filthy condition. We checked in and I saw trash under the TV, the toilet smelled bad. The carpet and chairs were stained so badly. The toilet seat had yellowish stains as well. Even the terrace was dirty.
