The villas with private pool I don’t recommend it because the pool is not heated so the water is very cold and the hotel in a cold area on the mountain so you never can swim in it

Great experience, but can have improvements

The view without any doubts is the strong point of the establishment, then the accomodation per day it's very comfy and offers everything, the pools and jacuzzi definitely do not disappoint and the food was excellent! Throughout 3 nights, and I never had once one single bad piece of food item and I never order the same thing twice! Everything was delicious!

I think a bit more care around the Villas could be improved, there was still some trash laying around in the lush vegetation and through the trees and also maybe something can be done a bit more to prevent insects from entering the Villas as well (also a bit more soundproofing also would be very good as the insects noise can be quite loud at night)

Beautiful , isolated , a place to reset though not explore

Elevate Bali Resirt is true to its name , situated high in the mountains near Munduk in the north of Bali . Though quite a large resort , the individual villas are reasonably remote from each , and offer privacy . The ground/villa staff are always courteous and happy (if a little too ‘schooled’ for quests) in typical Balinese style , and this continues throughout the general resort . Breakfast is one of the highlights here , generous and generally good quality with good service , which is included in the room rate .

What could have been better? Location, although beautiful in many ways , is also in quite an isolated part of Bali , so getting out from the resort requires hiring a driver (resort provided, with the associated price premium) , and there are no walking trails around to explore further, Be aware of the conversion rate when booking any of the Spa services , the prices are ‘abbreviated’ and not always clear 😉 . These things aside , it can be a nice place just to take time out and reset for those with busy lives ; the only other comment is we requested a late checkout as we had an evening departing flight, however, even the the resort was certainly not fully occupied , our request could not be fulfilled.

It is simply not a 5-star resort. Dirty towels, linens and strange odors everywhere. Facilities not professionally maintained. Terrible food and drinks. This hotel seriously needs a more professional management.

Stunning luxury villas with amazing views on the valley

An amazing wooden villa built with top-quality materials, featuring a gorgeous infinity pool and breathtaking valley views. We loved being chauffeured around the resort by golf cart. The staff was very nice and we really appreciated the massage at the spa.

All of it. We had the villa with private pool since this was recommended to us by friends. The place is just magical. We took a lot of pictures and videos. At arrival in the afternoon it was cloudy and during the evening it had cleared up. Excellent for night sky pictures. The view over the valley with the lights further down at night, the stars in the sky. And just serenity. We took a dip in the pool and used the outdoor shower while looking at the stars. The breakfast which was included in our booking was also more than superb.

We should have stayed one more night really.

Heavenly retreat above the clouds

Heavenly retreat above the clouds in a luxurious retreat. Waking up with a view on to Java volcanoes and plunging into a jacuzzi is priceless. Being surrounded by lush vegetation immersed in clouds made this stay truly memorable. More than anything I’d like to praise the hotel’s support when our daughter hurt her foot and needed medical care. A local driver was called on the spot and accompanied us all the way to the nearest hospital and back (Putu, thank you so much). The hotel management was in permanent contact and the resort manager followed up personally on the matter (my appreciation to Mr Putra). A word of praise for the quality of the medical care received, all the kindness and support. Also a mention to Ketut for his attentiveness and professionalim.

Stunning location and comfortable beds but little else

Amazing views and position. Super friendly staff , very comfortable beds

No real facilities/ one restaurant- same food for room service and for restaurant- very underwhelming food experience for a 5 star hotel. The gym was super basic. A few cardio machines- and a few free weights/ not much space and certainly no strength training equipment. Sauna wasn't hot - and had to be rebooked . Swim pool wasn't a lap pool so very limited options for activities.

We are happy with our stay, sadly it is not a place we would visit again.

The hotel is located in a nice area, beautiful and stunning area, however it is a one-time experience.

The only one thing, but it is significant, is the bad weather. I know that this is the vibe of the hotel, however fogs were present at all times. We understand that the management cannot solve this issue, hence we consider the location as a little bit problematic.

Awesomely incomparable view

The view from the hotel lobby and the room was simply incomparably awesome. Service staff were also excellent and warm 100% of the time, and while their smiles are definitely well practiced, you can sense their genuine regard for a high level of service for the customers' pleasure.

Main issue is the significant distance away from rhe main city centre in Bali, but this place is indeed for travellers who want to get away from the main urban bustle. Price is quite steep, but personally I found it reasonable given the excellent view and the level of service.

I hidden gem up in the mountains. The views and ambience are simply exceptional.

Fantastic location and exceptional views, gardens well maintained. Complex is easily a 5 star establishment.

The only thing that fell slightly short was the food. Whilst I could not fault the service and presentation overall. Some dishes (Garden Rolls & burgers) were very good. However the execution of others (Pork belly, Beef Randang) didn’t quite hit the 5 stars the rest of the experience delivered. This is something Elevate Bali can easily address with better quality sourced meat produce and execution of the dishes in the kitchen. Then the restaurant food will be up to the 5 stars the rest of complex easily is.

The restaurant provides amazing quality food and the staff is kind and very helpful on any of your requests. Great place to stay for a couple of days if you want to experience the mountains and jungles of Bali and be pampered by

Beautifully appointed room, large bathroom and expansive views from the balcony. Attentive staff and first class restaurant with live music every evening.

Unfortunately it rained persistently for the 8 days we stayed so we rarely saw the view and weren’t inclined to use the infinity pool. The paths around the resort were incredibly steep and slippery so we were dependent on staff to ferry us around in their electric buggies. The resort is quite isolated so we also needed to hire a driver every time we wanted to visit local attractions.

The place is beautiful. Even if it’s cloudy the Volcano view is magical especially with the hot jacuzzi.

Grab or Gojek are not going here so only hotel taxis that are really expensive. Also the restaurant is ok but definitely does not worth it especially for the price. Better options outside of the hotel

Outrageous hotel in the mountains

This Hotel was outstanding perfect in every respect. We stayed in a Pool Villa with Jacuzzi / Private Pool and the view from the balcony- just amazing! The staff is extraordinary friendly and all amenities/buildings were provided and made with remarkable love for details. Service, food quality, drinks, everything was just great :) we will definitively come back again!

The room was nice and cozy. The staff was fantastic.

No screen door on the room. So many bugs flew and crawled in making it uncomfortable to sleep. There should at least be some sort of bug control in the rooms. Also this room is soooo far from everything. 3 hours from the airport. 2 to 3 hours from excursions. It's a pain getting around. Also there is only 1 restaurant on the resort and the food isn't all that great (it's edible) but the menu is small. I ate pizza majority of the time I was there.

Memorable Getaway - You Don't Want To Leave The Villa!

We stayed in the Grand Pool Villa, which is even more spacious than it looks in the pictures. The living room, walk-in closet, bathroom, outside shower, porch, and infinity pool are HUGE! The jacuzzi should be able to fit four people, but it was very large for 2! Since there are so many amenities, we ended up staying in the room for 2 days and just came out for breakfast, dinner, and the complimentary spa treatment. The jacuzzi was nice and hot, the infinity pool was reasonably cold (not too cold to the point you can't enjoy it). We went back & forth like you would do with a sauna & cold plunge! You can easily take a nap in the cabana using the pillows from the lounge chairs and the provided beach towels. Since it's high up in the mountains, we didn't see many flies or mosquitoes, but there are some other bugs, which all mind their own business and don't come to bother you. The entire resort is very scenic, the main lobby, restaurant, infinity pools, spa, and gym all look amazing. They have a buggy service to drive you around, or you can get your steps in by climbing the hills. There are some street cats roaming around the property, they are pretty skiddish, but do enjoy pets after you bribe them with food XD

It's pretty far from the main tourist sites, which obviously gives you a quiet getaway. It's a 2.5 to 3-hour trip from & to the airport! It's probably best if you combine the trip to Elevate Bali with the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple & Handara Gate as they're on the way. Consider Alas Harum as well, albeit that it's still a 2.5-hour trip from Alas Harum to Elevate Bali. I didn't like that I had to leave XD

Amazing scenery with privacy in the mountains

Unique location in the mountain. Breathtaking scenery from the villa. Very clean resort and well kept. Special thanks to the housekeeping and resort staff. Everything went smooth. The private villa was amazing with the pool. Water was warm not cold at all if the day was sunny. Loved the H/K bluetooth speaker which was in the villa.

The locations is quiet and exceptional but unfortunatly you cant really take walks outside the hotel area because the roads are very steep and nearest town is atleast 20min away with car. Duo to the location the prices for SPA and dinner were in our thoughts little bit too high compare to the rest of the luxury resorts we visited in Bali. The inside shower could also use soaps and shampoo (only had at outside shower). I think bigger water bottles would be more better in the living room instead of the small one ( these were provided free but every other luxury resort had big ones for more convinent use).
