Very clean and modern and plenty of room for four.
More accurate photos. From the photo on the booking website we thought we were staying in the bigger property. It’s also a bit of a building site with construction going on.

New, freshly decorated place, lovely kitchen, good location, great price, lovely pub a stone's throw away, good instructions sent for the apartment and key code etc.
There were some stains on carpet upstairs that looked like animal excrement, kitchen tap leaking, the picture of the big house is misleading, the apartment is not in that building, there are very few parking spaces for such a big complex, shower upstairs was useless, no pressure and had to duck to get in it when there's a vast amount of wasted space on the opposite corner which would have been much better. 5pm check in is not great, would appreciate earlier check in.

The location was great to access most of the Lake District. We enjoyed how modern, spacious and clean the house was and the quiet area surronding it. It was a great plus that they allowed dogs! We had good communication with the hosts and we appreciated how thorough they were with information on how to use the appliances, heater and shower cabin. They were even lovely enough to accomodate a bit of a late check out for us on a last minute notice. We really enjoyed out time there!
Directions to the residence area were well explained, we really appreciated the videos they sent, but we stuggled to find the actual 4 Buttermere House as it was a bit hidden behind other similar buildings.
I wish the kitchen were a bit better equipped. We had a dishwasher and washing machine which was really great, but almost no cleaning products to maintain the area tidy, one single trash can with no recycling and very small pots to cook for 7 guests.

Hmm don’t know I’ve to think!
It’s so bizarrely managed. Airbnb has better accommodations than Booking.com
Just because it was £50 cheaper than something else we have faced the lot below.
The thermostats 3 out of 4 ran out of batteries. Kitchen sink water had leakages. The photos of the property are misguiding they put photos of the entire estate but your stay is some where in the corner. So the ambience expected of no use. You have only a message from guestz website which operates the estate.
