    The location was great, offering easy walkability and beautiful views. The hotel was well maintained and complemented by a friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness was impeccable, and fantastic shower and bath. The value for money was good, making it a solid choice for a pleasant stay.

    Hotel Ao Kamakura is one of my favorite hotels of the 25+ I've stayed at across about 15 cities in Japan. The cost performance was incredible to me. Located at the edge of Kamakura, right across the start of the beach next to Enoshima. The staff were so kind and helpful, and the views from the rooftop during sunset and sunrise were just perfect. The nearest station isn't too far of a walk, Enoshima is within easy walking distance, and there are some nice restaurants in the area as well. Thoroughly enjoyed my time, and would love to stay again! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone thinking of staying nearby!

    Fantastic stay by the beach. Very very clean with modern facilities and staff are fluent in English. The hotel owner clearly has good taste in all the little details from toiletries to room design. Highly recommended stay in Kamakura!

    Very nice rooms and setup. Only down side is no Onsen. It would be perfect if it have one. My regrets is I shd have stayed more days to experience the hotel fully and all of Kamakura / Enoshima attraction!
