Old Towne Loft on Broughton -Steps to City Market

Easy location for walking to the touristy areas and using as a home base. The free DOT trolley service has multiple routes to take you to other quieter neighborhoods to explore. The condo was really cute and cozy, with plenty of amenities. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The property managers were very responsive and helpful with questions.

Very noisy area on Broughton Street! If you don't want to hear drunk people yelling and running around in the street and building hallways until 3-4am it's probably not the best location to relax and sleep (bring earplugs!). It wasn't just the weekend as I might expect, but also on the weeknights. It seems like Bachelor/Bachelorette (rookie drinkers) central. If I came back again I would stay in a quieter neighborhood as the whole area is pretty accessible by walking, trolley or quick rideshare trips. Even as an experienced solo traveler I didn't feel safe walking around after dark. A lot of homeless and tweakers hanging around in groups and approaching people. I thought this would be patrolled better in the tourist areas.

I enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere, it was very clean and comfortable, and it sits in such a great spot in the downtown area of Savannah.
