About this house rental
Pleasant holiday home on a plot with a great view by the sea in the village of Skatvik on Senja's south side. Quiet, sunny and child-friendly plot. Open landscape with wonderful walking opportunities for the whole family. Rich fishing opportunities in fishing lakes, rivers and in the fjord. The house was built in 1950 but renovated and furnished in traditional style and is as a pleasant holiday home. 3 bedrooms in the loft. Steep stairs to loft. Free internet, satellite TV. From the house and the terrace there is a magnificent view over the fjord towards the mountain landscape on the mainland. Here, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace during the sunrise. This part of Senja has an open landscape that invites hikes for the whole family along the lake and into forest areas. In the area there are several shallow and child-friendly sandy beaches where children can play and pick stones and shells, the nearest 200 m from the house. 100 m to the sea, which is rich in fish and where rowing boats are available. Several fishing lakes in the area and in the river Lakselva are increasing in salmon and sea trout. Fishing against the purchase of a fishing license. For those interested in nature, Senja is a perfect place for mountain hikes/peak hikes. The wild and rugged mountain landscape on the island's west side has become a popular place for summit hikes. This place exceeded our expectations! The cottage had a warm and welcoming vibe, and we loved having outdoor space for barbecues, The nearby fishing spots were fantastic, and our kids enjoyed the shallow beach just a short walk away,
