The view and the proximity to the Segla trailhead were amazing. If you want to hike to Segla or its neighbouring mountains, this is a great place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was very organised in general. The beds were comfy and warm. The shared rooms were furnished very nicely and invited to rest after a strenuous hike. We didn't meet the hosts in person, but they were very responsive to messages and helpful for any questions we had.

Wonderful place for hiking and sightseeing in Senja

Excellent location for hiking to Segla and Hesten as well as visiting other sites in Senja. We stayed for 3 nights and everything worked well. The place is super clean and spacious. the kitchen is well equipped. The hosts are friendly and helpful. We’d definitely stay here again if return to Senja.

Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming. The house was clean and we took advantage of their kitchen and board games. They even invited us to have dinner with them in their barbecue hut. I cannot recommend this place enough! This was by far the best place we stayed at throughout our trip in Norway.

Lovely tiny town tucked into a rugged valley. Unfortunately it snowed overnight so we couldn’t hike Segla but the host was lovely and the house quite cozy. Host had a waffle maker and package of waffle mix set up in the morning for breakfast.

They have everything you need. There's a refrigerator with a toaster, a stovetop, with utensils and plates. Great location near the trailhead. They have parking. Honestly, in terms of things you need, they have it. The communication with the owner was very prompt. This place is perfect for the young traveler.

This is not specific to the house, but more this particular town/region, but there are a lot of flies. (This includes the whole trail for Hesten until you get to the summit) To the point when the room gets too hot, you don't want to run the risk of opening the window because the flies could get in. It might be nice to have a screen on the window so one could open it without being terrified of the flies getting in, but I don't know if it's something that's commonly done in Norway.
