Your laidback beach escape begins here. Just steps from the sand, our one-of-a-kind beach cottage in Old Lonelyville embodies the spirit of Fire Island and aims to give guests an authentic local experience.
With eclectic finishes & a laid-back vibe throughout, the cottage is a short walk from the ocean and the bay. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private deck in the shade of a beautiful cedar tree. Soak in the sun and cool down in the ocean waves. Hop on a beach cruiser bike and set off to explore the historic Fire Island Lighthouse. Cap off the day at the dock with a glass of wine as you watch the sunset over the bay - It’s all in a day’s work.
Cottage Includes:
⁃ A beautiful private deck to enjoy your morning coffee, a good book, or a grilled meal under the canopy of a cedar tree.
⁃ Three bedrooms with plush bedding: Queen, Queen, Full,
⁃ Brightly lit living room, including two comfortable sofas and an armchair, opens into the dining area with a table that can comfortably seat 6 people.
⁃ The checkerboard kitchen includes a new refrigerator, gas stove/oven, toaster, and coffee machine - along with good knives and basic supplies like olive oil and spices.
⁃ There is a half bath within the house with a large newly built outdoor shower on the deck a few feet away. The new washer and dryer are easily accessible but out of the way in an outdoor shed
⁃ The cottage is also well equipped with a Weber Gas Grill, bikes, a wagon, beach chairs, and beach umbrella.
Please note: Suffolk County recently implemented a 5.5% occupancy tax on all short-term stays under 30 days. While we understand this is an added cost, it’s a mandatory requirement :(

We just adore this retro chic little beach shack! It‘s the perfect laid back place for the barefoot vibe of Fire Island. The deck is magical with it‘s beautiful juniper tree. The owners are lovely people and very accommodating and helpful. This was our fourth stay and we hope to be back many more times.

Cute & cozy, we loved our stay! Jonathan has all the amenities available for an amazing beach weekend & was very accommodating & flexible with the check in/out. Outdoor shower only, but so nice during the summer time!

We love Fire Island and this cottage! Great location, fabulous hosts and a super nice outdoor shower. All things supplied for lovely beach days. We will be back!
