About this apartment rental
We are renting this 60 m² self-contained apartment located in a large house on the hills above Lake Serre-Ponçon. From its two terraces—one 13 m² and the other 9 m²—you’ll enjoy exceptional views and incredible sunsets, each one different every evening.
The two terraces face different directions, so when one is in the sun, the other is in the shade. Enjoy breakfast in the sun on one terrace, or lunch in the sun on one or in the shade on the other—the choice is yours!!!
Both offer breathtaking views of the lake.
The apartment is located on the first floor with a private entrance via an outdoor staircase. It features a large living room with access to both terraces. The living room opens onto a fully equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms: one with a 140-cm bed that opens onto one of the two terraces, and a second bedroom with three 90-cm beds, including a bunk bed. A bathroom with a shower. Ample storage space.
We provide a nice selection of novels for all tastes, as well as plenty of board games for the whole family.... just ask us for the list if you’d like.
We’ve installed a TV and Wi-Fi, which operate at the same “speed” as this wonderful location—that is, average!!! But the view alone is worth every movie in the world!!!!
Our house is located in a very quiet neighborhood. The street below is used only by residents—who are, so to speak, very few. Peace and quiet are guaranteed on the terraces, perfectly complementing the view.
No parking issues on the street.
This apartment is rented for a minimum of 7 days during high season, from Saturday to Saturday... with more flexibility during low season.
A security deposit of 300 euros will be required upon arrival.
This apartment is non-smoking, and pets are not allowed.
Sheets and linens can be provided, with beds made upon arrival, upon request at least fifteen days before arrival, for 20€ per person
If you don’t want to worry about cleaning at the end of your stay, this service is also available for a flat fee of 50€
Other services such as babysitting, laundry, or grocery shopping/taxi rides can be arranged upon arrival if needed.
There are many hiking trails starting right from the house and magnificent hikes to enjoy all around the area. In July, the mountains are bursting with flowers, each one more beautiful than the last... Keep an eye out for marmots and chamois during your walks!
Maximum sunshine all year round.
A wide variety of activities, such as water sports on the lake (catamaran, kitesurfing, windsurfing, water skiing, inner tubes, pedal boats, stand-up paddleboarding, numerous beaches, boat rentals), river sports on the Durance and Ubaye rivers (canyoning, rafting...), paragliding, mountain biking, horseback riding, tree-top adventure courses, trampolines, and mini-golf—all within a 15-km radius.
Located between Gap and Embrun, just 15 minutes from all shops—including a large Intermarché and Grand Super U—our village is also situated halfway between two ski resorts (a half-hour drive away... Les Orres and Réallon (a smaller, family-friendly resort but very pleasant!)

Sheets and linens can be provided upon request made at least 15 days in advance. Since we aren’t always on site, you’ll most often be welcomed by our neighbor Frédérique, who also handles housekeeping if you’d rather not deal with it. She’ll be happy to welcome you between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM with professionalism and a warm smile. She’ll be there to help if you run into any issues during your stay, and since she knows the area well, she’ll be able to offer plenty of helpful tips.
