Nomad Beach Resort

A wonderful stay in one of the best places in Diani Beach We absolutely loved our stay at Nomad Hotel Diani Beach. The hotel is beautiful, with a stunning view, lovely surroundings, and a very relaxing atmosphere. The service was excellent — the staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The restaurant also deserves a special mention: the food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Breakfast and dinner were both a real pleasure. This is definitely a place we would love to come back to.

Great location, swimming is possible even at low tide. The beach is stunning, you can go for long walks. Beautiful, comfortable rooms. All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Great beachfront restaurant.

Our stay at Nomad Resort was a mix of appreciation and disappointment, and unfortunately it did not fully meet our expectations. We would like to start by saying thank you for the upgrade, which we understand was offered as a gesture of service. However, the reality of the experience was quite different from what we had booked and expected. Upon arrival, we were surprised to learn that the hotel had double bookings, and instead of the room we reserved, we were upgraded to a very large villa for just the two of us. While this may be considered luxury by Nomad, for us it did not feel cozy or intimate at all. More importantly, the villa offered almost no privacy. There were people constantly in or around the villa. The pool maintenance team was present every morning during our breakfast, which felt awkward. A security guard was almost always standing directly in front of the villa, looking towards us. On several occasions, we would walk into the villa and find someone inside, either cleaning or just standing there, without prior notice. Rather than feeling relaxed, we felt watched most of the time, which made it uncomfortable. The reservation app was another challenge. It is very complicated and made booking lunches and dinners overwhelming, especially since many options were already fully booked when we arrived. Water activities also appeared as fully booked on the app, so we assumed they were unavailable. Only on our last day were we told that these activities actually depend on the tide and must be booked directly at reception — information that should have been communicated clearly from the start. We did manage to book the glass boat experience, but unfortunately it was very messy and unprofessional. The crew were shouting at each other and asking many questions in a chaotic way, which made us feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Despite having paid, we decided to leave the boat and cancel the experience altogether.

Overall, while there were attempts at providing service and luxury, the lack of privacy, poor communication, overbooking issues, and uncoordinated experiences left us disappointed. Nomad has potential, but for us, the stay felt disorganized and stressful rather than relaxing.
