About this villa rental
Kea, also known as Tzia, is one of the closest islands to Athens. There are 4 to 5 ferry boats going to and from the island everyday. as there are few hotels on the island, mostly private houses are rented out in the summer months. Most of these houses are built from local stone, giving Kea its unique architectural style.
Villa Ammos is on the waterfront, just a 3 minute walk down a path to the sandy beach of Xyla. The beach of Xyla is one of the nicest beaches on the island, part of the beach is organized with sunbeds and umbrellas. There The villa has been designed and decorated to the highest standards. Every detail has been carefully thought through, thereby offering everything that you could want to have the best and most relaxing holiday.
The villa has a large patio with an infinity swimming pool (1.50 depth), a shaded dining area, shaded seating areas and a BBQ, all offering an amazing sea and sunset view.
Inside there is a stylish living room with a fireplace, a dining area and fully equipped kitchen. There are large balcony doors which offer amazing sea views and lead to the pool area. Near the living room is the main bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom, again with a sea view and direct access to the pool area. The second bedroom has 2 single beds that can be made into a double bed with an en-suite bathroom. Leading off the patio are steps leading down to the guest house/bedroom, which has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. Outside the guest house there is a shaded seating area which you can sit and enjoy the sea view.
There is covered parking below the villa for 2 cars. From the parking there are stairs leading to the villa.

Excluding the 5km dirt road to the house, which makes exploring the island a bit tough, the location is great and the sunset among the best.
High quality finishing throughout the house and, overall, well equipped.

The 5 of us had a wonderful week at this superb holiday house. Thoughtfully designed and very well built by an Athenian architect/engineer, and very tastefully furnished and appointed by his charming wife. Were initially a bit concerned by the rough and longish dirt road drive required to we had to get there (we'll rent a 4x4 next time) but by the end of the week had found the short cuts and were glad we were slightly cut off from the main drag. Very restful and, with the excellent beach just below, an extremely pleasant place to unwind and hang out.
Property manager Maria was very responsive and helpful at all stages (booking, pre-arrival, and during our stay) and got the (very few) property issues we encountered dealt with immediately. Kea is lovely and way exceeded expectations (of which we had few as no one we know seems to have heard of it). We're very happy to highly recommend Kea, and this property.
