Relax in this spacious, peaceful, ground floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo, sleeping up to seven in gorgeous Bear Trap Dunes, Ocean View, Delaware. 128E October Glory is a 2 minute drive to the Pavilion amenities including the pool, golf courses, tennis, restaurants, and bar. Bethany Beach is just 3.5 miles away and takes ten to twenty minutes by car during the summer. The master bedroom features a king bed and attached full bathroom. The second bedroom has one full size (double) bed, and one twin with a full bathroom just outside the room. The couch in the living room pulls out to a queen bed.
*Please bring your own linens and towels. Blankets and pillows are provided. Linens and towels can be rented locally and delivered. We recommend Gale Force Rentals.
Smart TVs available with internet access only. You're able to log into your own Netflix, Hulu etc. accounts.
The kitchen is well stocked and updated with everything you need to cook for up to seven people including a K-Cup and Drip coffee maker.
The back screened-in porch, living, and dining areas are exceptionally spacious with plenty of room for the family or friends to spread out and enjoy their time together. There are no parking fees.
Barbecuing is not available or permitted.
The amenities in Bear Trap (different than the free activities below) include 27 holes of championship golf course, restaurant and bar, multiple pools, four Har-Tru tennis courts and one hard surface court, multi sport courts, and playground. There are two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, with plenty of umbrellas and lounges, kiddie pools, exercise classes, hot tubs and two saunas. The outdoor facility is beautifully landscaped, clean, immaculately maintained with lifeguards always on station. Both are very long with one lane always open for lap swimming. There is also a reading room, weight room, and cardio exercise room. Staff are courteous and diligent.
The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges a per person fee for guests ages 4 and older for the use of the community’s amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee (currently $55 per person, per week in season) varies by the time of year and is subject to change without notice. Guests must purchase amenity passes either at the Bear Trap Pavilion (be prepared to show a copy of the lease or check in instructions) OR purchase them online. There is a shuttle to the beach. Parking in Bethany Beach does require payment. Please search the internet for details about "Bethany Beach parking".
Please note: While the main pools at the Pavilion are available to renters, the October Glory pool in front of the house is not.
Free Activities! Included with your booking are 8 different daily activities within 45 minutes of the home. Every day, you have access to one free pass per activity. Passes do not accumulate. Except for the golf, these free activities are not the same as the amenities at Bear Trap such as the pools, gym etc. **The golf IS part of the free package (one free round per day, per group). Instructions for taking advantage of the free activities are sent once your booking balance is fully paid.

We have been staying at this property for the last three years. We were there for three weeks this year. The place is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Nice screened in lanai where you can watch ducks eating at sunset. Very quiet neighborhood in Bear Trap Golf community. Xplorie activities (golf, kayak, bike rental, etc) included.

Bear Trap is a nice, resort community. The condo was clean, bug free, minimally stocked. We spent more time in the unit than we planned due to sickness so we were as bit sensitive to unit. For instance, the fireplace did not work. There was cable but only in the bedrooms, the main TV was only a smart TV, which was odd. Again not a big deal. Some items were in need of repair, management was receptive to concerns. Cannot beat the free golf offer. Central pool is nice. Parking is easy. First floor living, noisy upstairs. Not sure if this was another renter or owner. There are lots of options for renting in LSD, not sure I would return unless it was a golf outing. If you have a family (young kids) you may want to look to a unit closer to central amenities

Home was well maintained and Clean. Exactly as described and in pictures. Secluded from the crowds but only 12 Minutes from the beach and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Beartrap Dunes is a beautiful community. We have stayed here many times. A couple current kinks:
Inconsistency of the beach shuttle - paid $55 amenity fee per person and two days the shuttle never came to Stop 4. 1 day, we left after 1 hr. 15 min. and drove ourselves.
Restaurant - we went to dine twice. Painfully slow. The second time we left after 1 hr of wait.
Upon arrival the condo front door code did not work. We contacted Jeremy by text and he Facetimed us. It was a less than welcoming experience. No "Hi Guys! Sorry about this experience. Let's get you squared away." He seemed to not think we entered the code correctly but again, it was not working and he had to give us a new one. He promised we would get instructions to reset it to something shorter (his was 10 digits) but the instructions were not in the condo nor emailed to us as promised. The wifi was out but a simple restart of the router got it going again.
The condo was very clean and the decor is very welcoming. Kitchen is well stocked.
We used the "one free round of golf offer" on two different days at Beartrap. The first day (Monday), they had no record that we had a free round coming to us despite the condo management firm making the reservation for us. The second day (Thursday) things went more smoothly.
Property mgmt co is obviously not local. VRBO details about shuttle were wrong. No instructions in the condo about where to take trash or recycling.
We missed the personal interaction with a local owner.
