Our wonderful stay in Pontremoli

Everything - we enjoyed our stay very much. This very old house has been carefully renovated to honor its history and was absolute delight to stay in. Stairs typical of its age required care and the handrails were very useful. We were warm and comfortable and relaxed. It was perfect for us. Cafes and restaurants are close by.

The location was great and the owners were super helpful and made themselves available to answer any queries. The place was will kept with lots of room for all of us. You didn't feel enclosed or claustrophobic.

The initial stairs to enter the space can be daunting but you get used to it fairly quickly. One of the party has mobility issues and they coped well, but it is something to consider.

Medieval feel with modern conveniences.

We have walked across Europe and we’re delighted with this stay. It had a medieval character with all modern comforts. Hosts were very accommodating. Would have loved to stay longer.

Great, clean location to experience the old and the new with a very helpful host.

The use of a door code was a newer way for me to get into a property but great. The place was clean cannot complain. I would definitely recommend the place. The location was great, very close to the old city and the newer parts of the city. The street was quiet and neighbors in the area were friendly. The appliances were newer. There were basic supplies present as well, such as coffee, dishwashing soap, and shower gel. The air conditioning unit worked but it was a little difficult to find the remote for it. The host provided pictures and excellent directions for walking to the property, we may not have found the location if it were not for that.

I really liked the place and its old style feel. The stairs were pretty steep so for travelers bringing in heavy luggage or have disabilities maybe this is not the place for you. The parking was pretty close by but again with the aforementioned people could be an issue. I appreciate that there is an air conditioning unit and that it worked, however it was difficult to find the remote for it (hanging on wall next to TV) and there was only that one unit in the bedroom, not one downstairs in the living area.

Lovely house, peaceful and calm.

Loved the house. Medieval but with modern fittings. Excellent host very helpful. Silence at night which was wonderful.Want to go back.

A little extra light in the cooking area maybe but I was happy. Just a common sense observation the wonderful ancient stone steps you climb from the front door to the apartment and then again to the first of the bedrooms would be challenging for an older person or someone with restricted mobility.( you might have to carry them) but for the rest of us a fabulous link to the origins of the house, like climbing up into a castle.

too many stairs, would suit fairly fit people, also need a little shelf in bathroom no room to apply make up etc,also a mirror in bedroom would be great

La casa è in un'ottima posizione I proprietari molto gentili e ci hanno fornito tutte le informazioni in modo chiaro Casa molto caratteristica, pulita e un piccolo angolo di pace

Non è che non mi è piaciuto ma è giusto segnalare che la casa si sviluppa in altezza e ci sono molte scale, ripide e senza la larghezza di tutto il piede quindi se si sceglie è bene saperlo(no per chi ha problemi a deambulare e per bimbi piccoli) A noi personalmente ha fatto bene..palestra gratis!

Appartamento su più livelli, scomodo, acqua calda non sempre disponibile. Avevamo riservato intero appartamento con due camere e abbiamo potuto utilizzarne solo una. Gestione decisamente da migliorare

La casa è molto accogliente, ben equipaggiata di stoviglie e di tutto il necessario. I proprietari sono sempre stati molto disponibili.Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Se capiteremo a Pontremoli torneremo in questa casa.

Nulla. Unica informazione che mi sento di dare è la presenza di scale ripide pertanto in caso di anziani o bambini piccoli è necessario stare attenti a questo aspetto.
