Rural and relaxing.

Very rural and relaxing.

Of your walking the Via Francigena, it’s a difficult walk to make after a long day. I arranged a taxi from Aulla and back in the morning which added 30 euro to my stay.

Cheap agriturismo, good food, unfortunately many unpleasant bugs in the room. Not my first choice.

Simple agriturismo next to Aulla, nicely situated on the hills, big garden. Paula was helpful and served a very good and inexpensive dinner. Standard Italian sweet breakfast.

Old rooms, not well maintained. There were many unpleasant insects in the room, not appreciated.

Very quiet location on a hill, walking distance from the railway station of Aulla. Fresh air and no disturbing noise. Everything is kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast was abundant and tasty.

lovely place

Very friendly, lovely and welcoming. The dinner ist great, selfmade pasta, fresh vegetables, super delicious desserts. At night is it extremely quite and relaxing. On the street to the building there are goats and donkeys that are really cute. You have to walk 20min to the station if you are without a car. Not a problem for us personally. And also, we were picked up and brought back to the station on our first and last day so that we don’t have to walk with all our luggage. Would recommend!

Comfortable stop coming from Milano and going to Cinque Terre.

Small restaurant that serves delicious food at a very reasonable price. Beautiful views of the rolling hills surrounding the property. Lovely outdoor patio where you can sit and take in the views, and the fresh air. Very relaxing. Ignore Google-navigator, follow signs instead.

Nothing to complain really. Maybe walls are too thin. Somebody called to us early in the morning, and phone ringing sound made visitor from next room to hit wall.

Location is beautiful, the food is delicious and sourced locally, some of it by the produced on site. Beware of Googles' directions: there is a tunnel allowing you to cross the railway south of the station, then turn right, and follow the signs to the Agriturismo, IGNORING Google! Spero di ritornare!

Lovely staff really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, giving me lifts to the station and cooking me lovely delicious food.

A quiet, peaceful setting in the Aulla vicinity with beautiful countryside views.

Great sheltered parking for motorbikes. Good size room which is more like a bedroom than a hotel room with lovely tiled floors and a very comfortable bed. There were mosquito nets on the window to allow the fresh air in. Lots of towels provided. Good WiFii. Long, leisurely, home cooked dinner with local produce and all served with explanations and details of the ingredients. The house red wine was very tasty too. A very good night's sleep as it was very dark. Breakfast was plentiful and consisted of regional produce.

Shower wasn't very powerful.

The mountain views were delightful.

The hotel's rating on Booking.com far exceeded the facility. It is a basic, simple inn, with substandard plumbing. Meaning, uneven water pressure and bad smells coming from other rooms. The surrounding farming environment was depressing too.

Gorgeous farm stay with stunning views of the Appuan alps.

This was a gorgeous place to stay, just a few km from Aulla. The spacious room had all we needed, and was cool and quiet after a long ride on the Via Francigena. Dinner was quite remarkable with wine from the vineyard; breakfast was also included. And the view! Highly recommended and excellent value.

Charming village

Very nice stay. We had option of latter check in at around 10pm and staff waited for us and made us delicious dinner. Everyone was so present and nice. Comfortable room, looking better live than in photos. Overall we are really happy and recommend it!

Great views, warm hospitality, and amazing food make for a wonderful combo.

The place was a treat. It is situated in a strategic location, with a wide yard to relax in and a magnificent view to the mountains. The staff was very nice and welcoming, and I would like to extend a special thanks to Paula and Valentina, and of course all the others. Their cooking is amazing, and they offer a choice of authentic regional cuisine, and all-types of pasta, each delicious. It is perfect if you're looking a quiet place to enjoy nature and some time to yourself. * I came for a cycling vacation with my road-bike, and there are lots of direction to go on a ride, and beauty is all around. * Take into account that the town-center is a 20-minute walk away, so it's best to be with a car when visiting

Very friendly welcome in a beautifully quiet setting with far reaching views. Comfortable room, good shower. Wonderful 3 course meal, using own produce, served in the garden and excellent value. Breakfast also featured home made cakes and jams. Really enjoyed our brief stay and hope to return.

A stay at La Selva provides beautiful views of the rolling hills surrounding the property, and if the Apuan Alps in the distance. There is a lovely outdoor patio where you can sit and take in the views, and the fresh air. Very relaxing. The property is located about 4 km outside Aulla, but if you don’t have a car they will very graciously come into town to pick you up. Our cozy room had a comfortable bed with outlets at the bedside. A nice washroom provided a shower with plenty of hot water, though water pressure was a bit inconsistent when other guests were using water. The free wi-fi is excellent. Bonus: there is a small restaurant that serves delicious food at a very reasonable price. We enjoyed a spinach tagliatelle with fresh porcini mushroom, followed by a perfectly prepared porchetta with roast potatoes. For dessert we enjoyed a delicious lemon torte/crepe. The meal was enjoyed with two bottles of La Selva’s own red wine (shared amongst three people), all for €25 per person. Breakfast was generous, including eggs cooked to order and very rich cappucino. The only (minor) downside is that the walls are thin so sounds from other rooms travel easily. But everyone was in bed, or very respectfully quiet, by 11:00 pm so this wasn’t really a problem. Great value for money; highly recommended.

Awesome stay in the country side on our way to La Specia. This place is a pearl and we would recommend it to everyone. We had really good dinner and the staff was so helpful and willing to do everything for us :)
