the verandahs and view were spectacular
It was in need of considerable maintenance. The oven never worked, many electrical fittings seemed in a dangerous condition, lights flickering when you turned them on or failing to work at all. The vacuum cleaner did not work and when we tried to get it going found it was totally clogged. The mattress in the largest bedroom was totally inadequate, it was little more than a padded mat on a concrete base.
